Dying crow graphics?
This is not really a big deal, but I am kind of curious about it.
When I played the demo, whenever I killed a crow it was always in an explosion of black feathers that settled to the ground.
Now I'm noticing in the retail version that about 50% of the time, the exploding feathers have been replaced by a black globe that shrinks into nothingness. Not nearly the same effect.
Anybody else seeing this? Is this supposed to be the way that it is? Otherwise having no other problems with the game.

The feathers don't appear sometimes because if they are not currently loaded it won't display them. Otherwise the game would have to wait for them to finish loading, which would create a pause. In general the game attempts to start loading things in the background far enough in advance so that they'll be available when they're needed, but to handle all of the different monsters, equipment, textures, etc. sometimes it can't load low priority things (like the feathers) in time.

Ok, thats understandable.
Not a biggie, I was just curious if it was my setup or not.
Thanks for giving an official answer!
