You either go for the physical side putting points into strength and dexterity, ignoring intelligence entirely except for what you get for maxing Earth mastery or you go for elemental damage, in which case you put most points into intelligence and dexterity with only enough into strength to be able to equip the melee weapons/gear you want to use.
Very well said Medea Fleecestealer! This proves you are among the top players in titan quest!

Now say you are doing an int based character, and anyone feel free to comment on this!! What stats, skills, gear, and the whole build basicially I'm asking for any int or caster based build???

Doesn't stop me from trying stupid things though. Yes, you guessed it, I've recently started a Battlemage who's using strength, intel and dex. I've read the advice, but I just want to try it and see anyway. She's using a staff and melee weapon both. She'll probably end up dying too much, but what the heck I just want to give it a go.

To me personally, deaths no longer matter, I just go for beating legendary with any character I try. I really want to try an int based caster though; and I am afraid I won't have a clue about that. So I'm hesitant about that; maybe I will just make more melee and hunting builds of various types lol.

No, deaths have never worried me particularly either. Of course I've gotten frustrated with a toon because of a bad build and deleted it, but once I learned more about the game I never mind the occasional death. It's usually because I've done something stupid in-game anyway, so I curse myself and carry on. I'm not one of those people who see a death as complete failure and delete their toon because of it. I see my death count as a way to show how well or otherwise I'm playing. My Conquerors both clocked up around 50 deaths by end of Legendary, but then they didn't have the sort of gear to use that I have in my Vault now and can call on. My Magician finished with 33 and my Bone Charmer with 27. The best I've ever done is 10. So if I can improve on those scores then I'm playing well and that's all that matters.

Hope this is in the right section.

With Ternion attack, what is tripled and what stays the same?

For example I have a soothsayer with (values approximated)
1: Burning Ruined staff. (13-47 lighting damage base) (6-13 Fire damage bonus) (Essence of Zeus' lightining bolt)
    2: Paean (a necklace) with 10-20 damage
3: Plated Bracers of the Gryphon (3 elemental damage) (27% elemental damage bonus)
4: Tainted Ring of The Opsrey (10% piercing) (10 piercing damage) and enchanted with Vile Ichor for (5 viatality damage, 18 posion damage over 6 seconds)

Overall it all comes to a 135 DPS.

Now when I use my Ternion attack would the approximate DPS be 405 or would only the base damage of the staff be tripled? I figure it's not the former given my highest damage dealt is 200. So what exactly gets tripled (from my stuff) for the ternion attack?

assuming ur playing TQIT (no significant mods) then:

at first level ternion adds -75% elemental so:
    13-47 lightning (+3-21) = 16-68 (-75%+IntBonus+27%)
    6-13 fire (-75%+Int+27%)
    3 elem (-75%+Int+27%)
    10-20 (+Str)
    10 pierce (+10%+Dex)
    5 vitality (+Int)

all of this is the damage of a single projectile

ternion fires off *THREE* projectiles, that is what is meant by tripled

at lvl 1 the damage of ternion is lower than a normal staff attack (0.25*3)=75% damage
at max lvl 12 damage of ternion is (0.8*3)=240% damage
at max +4 lvl 16 ternion does more than triple damage
    (assuming all 3 projectiles hit)

also realise that because damage is additive rather than multiplicative if u have high enough int the results are still skewed in ur favour
    damage (-75%+100%)*3 = 375% damage with lvl 1 skill

I have only Titan Quest. No Immortal and the version I have is pre-Dream Mastery. My Ternion attack is at lv 12.

The damage of ternion isn't tripled. It fires 3 projectiles, each of those has its own damage. So in theory, you get tripled damage still, as long as all 3 land on the target. If you read the description of each level you will see that in early levels the damage is weaker than normal staff attack (though if all 3 projectiles land on the target that ll still be projectile damage x3).

I would also suggest getting Immortal Throne, as well as the fanpatch and the patchfix. That was you will get the deathchill tree fixed afaik.

Alright, so with the first question answered I've got a second one then. When it comes to my "highest damage dealt" statistic and Ternion Attack does that stat count all three projectiles combined or just a single projectile.

(How much would Immortal Throne cost? One of the big reasons I started playing this game was because I was able to buy it for a STEAL at $1 [+ 9 cents of tax].)

the company that made TQIT doesn't exist anymore
the final patch removed all DRM

honestly, if u can get the software for free, no1 exists to complain about it.
