    Question The trouble with Centaurs....

Apologies in advance if this seems like a rant -- but i guess that is essentially a rant....Cedric is playing in the Epic Greece Area.

I hate those nasty evil stinking Centaur Elders -- i mean your methods stink --- blowing a great horn *stun?* and then sending ALL your friends to crunch me, just plain evil

Q: is this stun or which of the secondarys can lessen the effect of this action

And then after finally dealing with those accursed beings, Centaur Rangers use that blessed Prey Identification and hurt me loads -- i have only around 28% pierce res....

But the biggest annoyance *other than the incessant grunting and squealling of those banshee maynads...* is someone continually removing my Heart of Oak, leaving me greatly diminished and further at the mercy of the Centaur Rangers....

Could someone please at least name the skill that allows that to continually occur...

Thanks for listening.... really needed to get that off my chest....

Now that Cedric is L38 they can feel the wrath of the Grief-maker....

    regards
    Phil

Yup, War Horn = stun. So up your stun resistance. It's one of the more important secondary resists after Vitality Resistance.

Nothing you can do against Study Prey except keep your pierce resistance high, which you should no matter where you are.

Ah, disappearing HOA, i know that one. It seems to occur in two ways:

    1) you totally run out of energy. (someone correct me if this is not true).

    2) you are spellbroken/spell shocked/skill disrupted. I remember only one obvious culprit, the storm-using Satyr mage, Frostwind something I think his name is. He casts Spellbreaker. You can often hear the bowlingball-clap when he does.

I think it happens only if you are drained out of mana by a monster. So if you deplete your mana with skills it does not get removed.

And War horn does %reduction to health too. Vitality damag resistance helps with that.

Ah, so desu ka! Thanks for clarifying that, now I know for sure! Been wondering about that for ages!

But it's DOOM Horn that does %reduction to health, but i know what you mean.

    Re: The trouble with Centaurs....

    thanks for all the replys
i am not using all of the mana myself, there is no doubt a spell being cast on me with a blue animation similar to life leech in Typhon's Lair.....

so something with enery leech protection could help -- sorry this battle is frustrating --- mmm griefmaker showed them all --- even that **** satyr with his ***** tricks

i guess the worst of this battle, standing at the other end is.....

    17crows
    19centaurs *3elders*
    15 mynads
    21 satyrs
    1 satyr hero
2 mynad magic people *1 alchemist, 1 soceress*
is a reward of 3452 gold and one grand health potion.....

Oh, it's in Olympus it's happening? I'm pretty sure it's the skellie-mages there, that are using Spellbreaker on you.
I don't think there's any protection from that, I've had full Skill Disruption Resistance and I still get 'broken'.
