Epic Shield guy in normal?

Hi,

I stumbled upon a thread earlier that talked about a bug, where a trader in normal would sell epic shields. If someone can tell me more about this or point me to the thread, I'd be very appreciative.

I think it is the trader in the Orient who is located right next to the guy who tells you about his shrine being overrun with upset spirits.

It's up that hill where if you go right, you go over a bridge that leads to Neanderthal chieftain (eventually), straight and then left you see the guy with a quest for you in front of his temple. Then further left is the trader just kind of by himself. He sold my Defender an Aspis shield that blocks 220 points with a 20%(?) chance.

Confirmed it is Wei Shou between Western and Eastern silk road..he has an Aspis right now for 497,430 gold! But hey level to use is only 12 so maybe they are supposed to be here?

oh yeah now i remember, that trader DEFINITELY sell items that are supposed to be in higher difficulty (you should not say epic shield because they are the blue shields, instead you should say shields for epic difficulty which is why i was suprised at first) Anyway, that vendor is really a very good place to hunt for better items, as it sells items that can be found in greece in the higher difficulty. in fact that's where i found some of the better items i currently have. the only problem is that to access it easily you have to go by rebirth fountain as there's no portal near it
