Where can i find the emerald quill ... I need it for my blood gem..
I'm wondering where to find the blade of thanatos.
Act IV.
I was farming for turtle shells the other day and found that the best place for it was the swamps before Delphi. There's a higher ratio of turtles to those fish guys than there is on the coasts. Also there's much less ground to cover than the coasts and there's a res fountain right at the entrance.
trying to farm the first telkine in normal for a Leafsong. Ive gotten at least 10-15 scroll's of orneios, but no leafsongs, who else might drop them?
The way I farm(ed) for "lesser" artifact scrolls was... I took my bow-haruspex ( awesome AoE and 1 shot kills ) and ran through normal with Xmax, although it all took awhile and I didn't get ANY exp for it ( my haru is like 60 something, lol ) I did get a quite huge amount of scrolls and charms and relics of different kind.
I can't really tell how people know exact locations on where certain Scrolls drop ( even Act'wise ). From some guide-post that I read [Nevermind it's actually the opening post here, lol], it explained that it's necessary to look at levels of the Artifact(s) ... i.e Cinderbolt is 20, Amber Flask is 10. So to get those artifacts you need to kill monsters that are in that level range or something ...
Interesting thing is however that For Cinderbolt I managed to get 1 somewhere in Wadjet Canyon ( Egypt, ACT II ) and another ( on different char ) at ACT 4, somewhere in the Marshland with the Froggies, though those are more like lvl 30+ from what I recall.
Only thing I know ( and can tell ) is what artifacts need epic or what need legendary difficulty to drop and which ones drop in normal, but I still can't tell a certain act(s) for them. Are they based on personal gains and personal experience, or there's actually more to it than I know?
I know (Lesser) Artifacts that drop in "Normal" range in levels from 5 to 25 ... Also added the extra (Greater) Artifacts that drop in "Normal" have a range of 25-30.
So does that mean one seemingly solution would be to distribute the levels ( 5,10,15,20,25,30 ) amongst the 3-4 Acts?
Like I'd guess
level 5-10 ones drop in Normal Act 1 ..
level 15-20 Normal Act II?
level 20-25? Normal Act III?
level 25-30? Normal Act IV?
I guess there're no "strict" limits on what drops where, but certainly things like " most likely to's" Since as I said with my Cinderbolt example ( it's level 20 ) I got one in Act 2 and one in Act 4.
Even so I'd like to hear your guys guesses and explenations on how You work these out?

If you encounter lags. You might try to do the following:
In your Documents/My Games/Titan Quest - Immortal Throne/settings folder there is a file called "options.txt" open it. Scroll down and find a line:
forceSingleProcessorMode = false <--- Make sure it's false! If it says true, change it to false. This should decrease Lags by a Large margin if you have a multi-core processor.
Having THE hardest time farming for venom sacs and demons bloods for my Chaos Orb.So far I'm doing Rhakotis Slums and Parnassus Caves, got 2 sacs and 1 blood after a number of runs. I must just be having bad luck...![]()
There is a great Saber Claw and Yeti Fur farming area, which veridia mentioned about. It is between Babylonian Outskirts and Western Silk Road, on South-West from Shangshung Village.
In this area usually lives about 15-20 Yetis and Tigers in diffrent amount - sometimes there are only tigers, sometimes only yetis, generally half and half. In addition there is a rebirth fountain close by, which greatly accelerates farming. Charms drop rate are pretty small, but at least you don't have to waste your time searching for beasts.

The run I'll do begins at East Silk Road portal and backtracks to Chumbi Valley. It's great for Yeti Fur, Saber Claws, Peng Claws and Raptor Teeth, as well as a chance for some Uniques from the Gargantuan Yeti's chest and the heroes in the ice cave leading up to Barmanu, not to mention Neanderthal MIs.
