Re: [REL] Disable NightTime For TQ Immortal Throne

Forgive me if this is a stupid question as I do not have Immortal Throne installed here yet and I just decided to returnt to Titan Quest after taking a 'six month break'.

I was reading patch notes for 1.20 and saw this:
implemented the ability to turn the day/night cycle on and off. Day/night cycles are currently on by default.

To turn day/night cycle off, go to the My GamesTitan QuestSettings directory and open the options.txt file after changing any option in game. Find the setting called "dayNightCycle" and change its value to false. If the setting does not exist, add the line "dayNightCycle = false" to the end of the options.txt file.

What does your modified game code do that the above does not? Did they forget to carry this feature over to Immortal Throne??

Yup, they seem to have forgotten that some systems cannot generate the shadows.

Actually they did. Adding that 'dayNightCycle' option does nothing in IT as the game will re-write the file, removing that line :|
Great work, maxsound, thanks a lot

oh and on a side note, shouldn't this be in the Immortal Throne section?

Looking forward to using this, night time sucks! Hate wandering around and not actually being able to see monsters until they're bashing me in the face
