Had a minor problem with a dropped item bug (might also address the dropped shield that Matticus was talking about)

I was playing on a LAN with my brother. Thus far, we've had 2 items disappear when they were dropped from our inventory. We were attempting to just pass items without using the trade window. Does not appear to be item specific. Might have to do with closing the inventory window as the item is dropping.
