when loading charcter, pc restarts!

Hi. I have serious problem and hope that someone will help... When i double-click Titan Quest on desktop, the game loads, but when i click Play Titan Quest in the game my pc restarts right before loads my character and it happens all the time. I tried updating to v1.2, tried some cracks, other fixes,burned image and installed TQ from dvd, mounted iso with DT 4.00 and Securom loader but nothing worked... any ideas?

It takes a LOT of guts (let's call it that) to come over to the forums frequented by the devs and say "hey, help me, my ISO doesn't want to start, no cracks work, what do I do??"

Haha, short of coming here and asking for the warez themselves or for a CDkey, that's just pure stupidity IMO.
