Melee prophet would be pretty nice, Trance of Wrath + Squall, and Wisp set to Aggressive as your tank pet alongside a fully pimped Nightmare. Pretty good setup.
Damn Infares! Your reputation don't lie about you. Damn fast response!

Ok back on the serious note About Attribute, i should go full str, and just some dex to get weapons that fit my build right? None to int?

Btw, for psi touch, i should go for quicker weapon for char?

Quicker weapons are awesome for Psi touch, since its your only viable left clicky. That means Swords, and swords mean Dex. Ergo I'd go 1/1 Strength/Dex and let your masteries take care of your Int. Doing this also means you'll be able to get into some legendary stonebinder's cuffs later on which are great on any class. Doing piercing damage along with regular damage also pays off on every instance of the word "Total Damage" you see on your skills in the Dream tree.

And lol, thanks. You just happened to post that as I was getting caught up on all the posts I'd missed last night while playing.

Just wanted to update this post, because I was thinking of making a prophet and found this. +% Elemental Damage doesn't affect Electrical Burn damage, and it's been confirmed in other threads.

Thus in terms of itemization the only way to increase any type of "burn" damage is %INT and +INT.

Re: The Prophet [An Extensive Guide]

I have a lvl 30 Prophet at the moment and find it the most powerful build I've played--I've built it completely different from this guide, but that doesn't mean the guide is in error--it's a very flexible and synergistic set of skills that play off one another, making for a lot of intrinsic power.

I am not using Squall at all, but the Distort Reality line and Storm Surge at pumped levels with a staff of thunder tweaked with Zeus' lightening bolt. My dps when buffed by the Wisp is over 500. ToC is also pumped, and the Wisp is set on aggressive, tanking while the character & Nightmare with his nice little confusing gaze effect wipe out the mobs. The Wisp does occasionally die from spell effects(Tiger Sorcerers, for instance) but most of the time nobody even gets touched, and swilling red potions is non-existent. No deaths, no trouble with bosses, even the one-hit Neanderthal man.

Whether this build will be as powerful out of normal I don't know, but it's nice to see guides like Dedo's that give some alternatives if you want to respec.

Thank you for the guide. I liked the storm tree from my Oracle and just started a Dreamer, uh, Seer 20 or so levels ago, and I can use your guide well as an inspiration. Not everybody here is a super-pro, some of us are just weekend gamers and they need this kind of guides!
Thalia: Dream/Warfare (Harbinger) Lv. 38 (Normal Hades)
Robbi: Rogue(90%)/Hunting(10%) (Brigand) Lv. 41 (first char to finish IT)
Layla: Spirit/Storm (Oracle) Lv. 47 (Legendary) (first char ever)

Hey hedgewitch, could you tell us all what skills you have maxed and such? And how you fight against mobs and bosses?

    Thanks!

TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Prophet

Hopefully this link will work. To sum it up if not at level 37 now, I've maxed both masteries, have Storm Surge at 8 pts, Storm Nimbus as my left click with 1 pt, 2 pts in HoF, and 6 in Static Charge.
My pets are Wisp(1pt) with EoS(4pts)and the Nightmare(2) with Hypnotic Gaze(2) and MM(1).
My main attack is with a farmed staff and dual rings of thunder, dealing around 750 dps with buffs. My right click is now Lightening Bolt, and I have Distort Reality hot-keyed. This lets me kill small groups of attackers with staff and LB, and then kick in DR with petrify for bigger mobs.

I still cut through normal mobs and heros and such like butter. Typhon went down in about 30 secs. But in Act IV I am having probs with Cerberus. I'm wondring if he isn't lightening resistant as I can't seem to damage him even with 750 dps. I'm thinking of respecing ToC into ToW for the higher difficulties.

    Anybody have any ideas?

Yeah that link didn't work. You have to copy the link at the bottem that the page generates with all the numbers at the end.

Thanks for the tip, jjv687. The link should work now.

Progress Report: Respec'ed ToC into ToW and with a little help from a Frenzy scroll, took out the Big Dawg. Have leveled to 38 and am using a purple staff found in Epic called Rod of Ages--HUGE dps. =] The right click Lightening Bolt ( now with 5 pts) stuns small groups and more distant boss or mage types without having to get as close as Distort reality. Still pull that out when mobbed, though and it is deadly. All in all, happy with the build so far, though it is somewhat gear-dependent.
