i find that using the ShopMI kinda ruins the game, because it means that you're untouchable. like Shalie said, just use whatever you find in the shops.

battlestandard is great, but only use it for bosses. mobs can be easily robbed of hp with doom horn. put 1 on battle horn and then max doom horn, takes off a quarter of the enemy's health.
