They've redone the skill system, improved dmg from skills for some. Nerfed dmg on others, hard to tell exactly how things will play out just now.

Your characters will not be erased, skill resets...

Gear is kinda standard but with crafting, probably will change in S2 so wont say much here, you can make some really nice pieces. It is extremely expensive to do though so I don't bother until 60+.

Yeah if you do start it up and aren't interested in PvP then you wanna play on "Valdes" server. Hammerine server is open PK (Player Killing) after the first map. Which means bored or frustrated high...

Technically it's an MMO but just barely. Raids require a large group of people but you don't have to do those if they are not your thing.
