You should give Soulvizier a shot if you're starting fresh. Its basically Underlord with added goodies (same map, same masteries, etc). The Souls (rings) make for some interesting builds.

Go Nature! Plague is very powerful, Heart of Oak + Core Dweller is great, and the AoE heal. Rupture + max attack speed on Plagued mobs you can mow things down quickly.

Is your build directory in your TQIT directory? If it is setup in your ArtManager to My Documents\Custom Maps your World Editor will not see it. Quest ED takes a LONG time to load btw, so be patiant.
