Hey, Irma2, I'm visiting the forum from time to time just to read your posts and I want to say one big thank you. I've learn so many things about this game from you, and now I am enjoying it so much more. I am playing with so many builds, and it so great how every toon have its own beauty. I've made Int Diviner, Warlock, Slayer, Ranger, Dreamkiller and Magician based on your recommendations on the subject, and they turned out great fun. So, thanks again, you are awesome.

Hi Old Bugger, sure you can make an elemental Avenger. The problem mainly is that, while Sage gets the benefit of flat Lightning damage from Zeus relics, the Prometheus relics add mostly Burn damage. Which, as it's a damage over time effect, is not as effective as instant flat damage.
Regarding attribs, I would only put a little bit in Str. You can wear Gorgon gear which needs high Dex but not much Str. However, you will need a bit more Str than you get from Hunting. I'd go 1:1 Dex:Int but put quest bonus points into Str. Perhaps also save up 6-10 points which you can put into Str if you find a really good armour piece that needs it.

On June 6, 2011. you wrote an outstanding post on an Elemental Sage. Can I apply the same ideas on an Elemental Avenger. I am at Lvl 9 in Normal with a Magi Staff which is carrying me at this time.
In a fit of passion last night, I deleted my Vault and all it's contents, also all my toons exect two I have in Epic. So no relics ecept the the few pieces I have picked up. My new Vault has a few green/blue items, and lots of yellow junk for starting new characters latter. Most things seem to be melee.
Only have a few in Hunting so far, 1 in Marksman, 1in Art of the Hunt and 2 in Wood Lore, and 3 in Herbal Remedy(helps with poison and health at this point.)
I don't use the bow I have as it is pretty bad. My second Mastery is still open,, but I love Earth for Eruption.
Can I make this build without a lots of Strenght? Can I go 2:1:1, Intel,Dex, Str or go 1:1 Int,dex and forget Strenght?
