Hi, this is my first post on this forum, and I'm looking forward to... well, a nice experience whilst trading info with others! =)
Now, to my question; While looking on the skill-tabs I noticed that some skill-icons are shaped like squares while others have the shape of a circle. As I understand it at this point circle means it's a passive skill (it's active all the time, no mana cost) while square skills you have to activate/use manually.
I have 5 years of diablo 2 'in my backpack' so comparing to that circles are like axe/sword/etc mastery, while squares are like bash/concentrate/berserk/etc.
Am I right about this, or am I up in the blue here?
Thanks in advance.

That's it

Kind of, but it's not completely comparable, as in the circled skills, you have as well:
- upgrades to active skills: they are used when you use the active skill
- chanced base skills: they have a chance to activate
- upgrades to pets giving them skills: those are usually active skills for the pet, but *you* don't have to fire them, the pet will

Hope this makes things a bit clearer. And welcome to the forums :)

Thanks, and Thanks a lot! =)
Oh, that's right, i almost forgot; I just activated a shrine effect, "Battle Marker" and my attack speed got insane! Is that available as a skill-prebuff?
