What period exactly?

It's been a while since World History/Art History for me...but what is the approximate time of the game (what century)?

Too early to see Roman "stuff?"

I remember a discussion on this earlier. the only thing I remember was that it was decided it could be no earlier than 700 B.C.

I don't even remember how we decided this. Based on the weapons maybe.

700 BC was rougly the time when the first part of the Great Wall were built. However on the other hands, Greek gods and myths are "dated" around 4 000 BC and before ;)

We did take some liberties with our time periods. Specifically with including the Great Wall, which did come a bit later than the time periods illustrated in the Greek and Egyptian portion of the game.
