The question is simple will you still buy the game if it uses the safety program starforce?

I for one wont because it can damage your computer permenantly and put virusses and commercial junk on your computer i had a game with starforce once and these are a few things it did to my computer:

1Oh you have a cd writer to copy cds lets break it

2Oh you have some prince of persia 2 files outside the original map in c let us reformat c entirely

3Oh you have put some other files in the prince of persia 2 map let us reinstal the game

4Oh your videocard is overclocked and no longer has warranty let us break it

after our conversation and looking at the website you gave me i wont either. it's hard enough trying to keep virusses and shit out of out pc with windows alone, i don't need starforce to open up some more gates as well.
and to do that other s*** you mentioned... :p

boycot starforce! :D

yea I will buy the game for sure even if it has a starforce protection on it :)

why? because its a great game :)

and even if it opens up gates, fills your compie up with virusses and other shit.... Because I got the ultimate solution for not getting hacked, or let worms crash your comp....

the solution: remove your admin rights from your account and create another account with admin rights. now you cant install or play a game at all, so hackers or worms cant either ^^ but you do want to play games :P so instead of doubleclicking to open or install a program. Use the 'run as' command. you can find it if you ricght click on a program with your mouse.

and now you can safely play and install any game you like :)

and 501105 are you really sure that in all those faults / errors the starforce protection system was the guilty one?

if it really was starforce then you can also just download a starforce disk hider, but thats a bit illigal :P

not anymore i am afraid with the new version of starforce that has just been made available since 2 weeks ago if you remove starfoce or alter it or hide it then it will block the game it is suppose to protect i have already seen a very good friend of mine who has a very high ICT gradute (8 jears of school at top level) and even he cant alter it without getting the game locked and on the internet there is stil nobody with any idea how to hack it.

And once the game is locked you cant even acces the game map anymore the only option is removal and reinstall.

RELOADED is a group in the warez scen that release games and some of thos games use starforce and RELOADED manage to make a no-CD crack for thes games.

http://www.nforce.nl/

So it is not a program that remove it.

hmm well the probs about starforce seem to involve it's program, not the cd.. so my guess is RELOADED cannot really give us a lot of help..

btw i don't really trust warez.. it scared the crap out of me when i accidentally entered a warez site and i stay away from anything warezy ever since :p
