...would smell as leet. :P
Anyway, my question is:
How will names be handled, particularly in regards to multiplayer?
If my name is Dude Guy and I start a multiplayer game and another Dude Guy joins, what happens? Is someone renamed for that session, or...?

50 views and no one knows the answer?
What happens when two people have the same name in multiplayer?
I'm just curious.

when was the last multiplayer game you played and 2 people had the same name? my answer would be prolly none because when you make your multiplyer charcter if soemone had the name the machine would force you to choose another name
" sorry that name is already in use please choose from these possible names
1- idiot 123
2-id10t567
3-yougettheidea

My point exactly.
Being that you can use your characters in both single and multiplayer games, how will it be handled?
If I start a single player game, and name myself Achilles or whatever, I highly doubt it's going to tell me to choose another name just because some other guy has named his character Achilles in HIS single player campaign.
Single and multiplayer characters are one in the same, remember?

The universe will implode.
Ok then. No one can play the multi-player until I finish the single player.

I'm pretty sure both people will simply have the same name. Who cares? Don't make a common name is my advice.

Everybody should just follow thier name with a 15 digit numerical code. Problem solved.

Big chance yeah, or the 2nd player that joins will simply get a 1/2 or something behind his name temporarily.
