Here is a great site for checking to see if your PC will run a particular game title:-

Can You Run It? (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com)

Unfortunately, Titan Quest is not currently in the drop down list, but it is still a useful resource.

Thanks Batman! I have added the site to my favorites. BTW, the link you gave didn't work for me. Got the following message:

It was a social engineering trick... in about a month or two it would be best to check your credit report.

ROFL. Nice, Rah. Great site though. I used it before getting Oblivion to make sure I could handle it. The box's requirements said I could, in fact more than could, but I still wanted to be sure before I dropped down 50 bucks.

What kind of graphics card is in your laptop?

That percentage thingee they have on you being able to run the game is sadly unaccurate. But it's not the site's fault, its the game developers' fault because they give rubbish minimum system requirements for games without even testing them. Two good examples are Oblivion and Hitman: Blood Money. Oblivion was touted to work on a FX5200 just like Hitman. Both of them didn't work even though I had a high score on that site.

Will I be able to run the game?

According to the systemrequirementslab.com site, it passes easily on all except for the CPU speed.
Some games wont let you install if the requirements aren't met.

My laptop has:
AMD Turion processor at 1.6GHz.
I have 1.2GB of RAM
X700 Mobility graphics
XP Home SP2

Let me know
Thanks

I think you will have problems with a Mobility graphics card, since they are usually a lot less powerful than their desktop counterparts. You will probably need at least a GF6600 if you want the game to run well and look good. Go do a 3DMark test for your graphics card to compare your performance with some of the other cards on the market.

I would expect the x700 mobility would work fine. I have the nvidia 6400 with 128mb. "Turbocache" and it runs fine. It is medium to low settings but it still looks great.

Thanks

I have no problems with games running on my X700 graphics, I guess because it has 128MB RAM and my system has 1.2GB.
World of Warcraft, Farcry, etc. are all pretty smooth.

My only question is: Will the game actually install and run on a 1.6Ghz processor when the minimum spec is a 1.8Ghz?

Just to test I install the demo to my PII 300 something Mhz laptop and there was no problem installing i just cant run the game on the laptop because of the graphic card requirements :)

you may have an onboard intergrated card, so you may not have it disabled when you put in your new one...

as for the system spec checking tool: i dont like it... It said my amd fx-53 was below the rcommended... a 2.4 amd fx-53 beats an intel non extreme @ 3.7 or an intel extreme edition @ 3.2ghz (go look at benchies)...

Minimum.......Recommended......................... ........My system

And I still have issues.

All this site does is look at your specs vs the box. Its for people that can't read or don't know what they have in their PC and subsequently shouldn't have one.

Seems to me that whatever test they are using is not very accurate. I did the TQ test on my laptop and it said that my laptop failed and can NOT run TQ. But yet the demo runs on the laptop. Granted there is some ever so slight video lag but it does indeed run.
