in skill description is written: Life Time 18 Seconds and 24 Second Duration
what is difference between them, what each do?
I assume Life Time 18 Seconds is how long before Battle Standard disappears, but what means 24 Second Duration then??

also does Triumph work with bosses such as telkine?

The difference is that the second duration number is a bit of fantastic crap. When the Battle Standard drops you will lose your aura buffs on the spot. Triumph MAY be attached to that second timer but I'm not sure. Yes Triumph works against everything but Mr. Telkine is most likely going to break your banner pretty fast.

Are you 100% sure that you lose the aura immediately? Because if you run oor of the banner you will still have the aura a while.

The longer second number is a mystery to me. I have no idea which timer is attached to Triumph or even if the standard needs to stay up for it to be active.

Thats correct, afterall it -is- attached to Battle Standard. It just gives the Battle Standard a new skill to use.

In my experience, with a max'd out Battle Standard, and only 1 pt so far in Triumph (Just got it, still sinking pts into it). It works exceptionally well against the Telkine's.

Its not hard at all to keep the aggro focused on yourself, then dropping the Battle Standard, and never having to worry about it getting aggro.
