I was wondering how come there was no gore... (sorry bad joke *covering head for flying eggs and what not)
I was wondering if the bodies in the full game can be continuously kicked around? I got a great kick out of the ragdoll physics when I killed a Satyr and he landed on a fence according to the shape of the fence.
How howabout this for a bonus level or game, where players can play ragdoll physics basketball or football (yes, yes I know I'm a sick bastiche but I just oh so love that ragdoll physics).

Razorwind, the basic reason there's no gore is because that wasn't in Brain Sullivan's vision for the game he wanted to make. Plain and simple.

Oh my godness. You are a genius. This is a brilliant idea for a custom map. Creating a multiplayer football with monsters. Would require a lot of work though.

Until I had my 20" Intel iMac I didn't know what all the fuss was about Garry's Mod (or even HL2 in general). But, wow, it's a complete riot and brilliant.

What I miss in TQ is that your character can’t be kicked and tossed around too by heavy hitters. There is nothing like a “hit recovery†in the game.
I think it would look more plausible and make fights funnier if a monster (or character) would be just knocked back sometimes and has to get up first until it is ready to fight again. The probability to be knocked down could be related to the health left: the less health the monsters/character has the higher the chance it can loose its stance.
The general chance to be knocked down shouldn’t be frustrating high. It should just serve nicely to let the players sweat sometimes and could cause interesting MP situation where you have to help out other temporarily knocked down players characters by distracting the enemies.

You can be stunned though (and it can be deadly sometimes ;))
Ah, yes, forgot the stun but that isn't really spectacularly done with ragdoll physics.

Like Napolean said...that game idea is pure genius. I hope someone comes up with that mod. I would be there in a heartbeat!!!!!
