This map lets you level fresh characters from lvl1 for use with your custom quests.
I explain, you enter with a lvl1 character, and you pick one of the many stone tablets on the floor in front of you (one tablet for each 5 levels, ie lvl05, lvl10, lvl15, etc up to 65), then you go show it to The Great Master, and he grants you the level of the tablet!

Not only that, he will summon 3 orbs containin "default boss loots" for the level you choose, to help you equip your toon with some basic stuff. (different each time thou, using loot tables) Better than beeing naked i say!
And finaly, you get to choose between 2 mastery skills if you go for a lvl10+, and there is a skill reallocator in case you want to change something, and also 2 merchants if you want potions or something else.
Evrything is in english (text) but the voice of the great master (mine) is in french, he only say one thing thou hehe :P

To install:
You have to create the folder "CustomMaps" in "My Documents/My Games/Titan Quest/ Here ".
After that, you have to unpack the mods inside that folder, and for each mod, the structure must be like this :
.|-CustomMaps
...|-ModName
.....|-Database
.....|-Resources
PS: i suggest you use only lvl1 toons with this map, and i suggest you take only one tablet, or 2 max.

The map is great. I've seen, that you add the bags as well. You might want to think about adding all the quest rewards one would gain from going through the normal difficulty. If I create a new level 35 character and then import it to the main campaign and skip right to epic, then I miss out on 5 skill points if I'm not mistaken, some attribute points, health and mana.

Yes its true, the problem is i don't know the exact values, when i played the main campaign, i hmm didn't check :P
I ll gladly add the bonus rewards from the quests if can find a list.

Seems great, i made my own map with a few bits of armor and max lvl but never could get the bags ^^

Now is there any way I can use this to jump start my guys in the normal quest? I'd rather start from 10 and run halfway through Greece than have to start from scratch...which seems to be all the time since I can't find a char I like :)

Indeed i only put the exp for Normal, but i will fix this today and reupload.
Edit: Its done and updated, now you get experience in the Epic and Legendary modes.
Makuzo: For the bag, its the item located in records/items/miscellaneous/inventorysack.dbr. I used Give Player Item to give the bags.
Paksiw: Yes you can, the only thing missin is that i did not include the bonus from finishing the quests, so if you decide to play the main quest using this map, you will be missin some skill points and stuff.

How do i get a character to start a normal difficulty game? I tried moving the character folder to the main save data folder, but it just resets the character. A little help here?

I DLed this to try out different builds... my first lvl 15 char has around 1400 HP. I gave this a shot selected the lvl 15 tablet get the level up from the master but I only have 300 health still. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you put points in your masteries trees?

Yes you get bags, when you choose a lvl that originaly granted you one or more.

i cant get this to work, i had to make a folder in TQ map called Custommods and there i put the folder of this mod, but cant see it in game :S

As the title said, this was made for Custom Quests originally, so if you decide to use it for something else, i'm not responsible.

if you want to test your own mods, this map is essential !!!
also i remember playing neverwinter, there was also such a kind of map.
which was very usefull, cause a lot of mods had a specific level range.
and i think same is in TQ you want to play a specific mod, but you
havent the right character. so you use this tool and play the mod.

I download this, followed the installation instructions.
I can play the map, but when I do... there are no tablets to select the level you want your character.
I have no clue what the issue is.
Can someone please help?

The tablets are just in front of you when you enter the map, you can't miss'em, its on the ground. Try redownloading the mod if its not working.

How did you add thouse tree bags via quest?
and I made a mod ho lvl up, but it don't add a second mastery. How did you add that second mastery in your mod?

To get the second mastery, when giving experience to the player, you must split the experience value in two. The first value must bring the player to a lvl between 2 and 8 (i think) and the second value will complete to the desired lvl.
This is because the second mastery choice is given in these level, if the player goes directly to lvl 15, he won't get the second mastery. he would need to get lvl 5 for example, then lvl 12. (use 2 give experience instead of one).
For the bags, they are items, so i used give item and i put the bag item, and i tried to follow the game's rules (one bag for low lvls, 2 for mid lvls and 3 for high lvls).

I split xp in two steps, and the pop up text with the information of the quest reguard says: "you won 50,000 xp, 111,000,000 xp" but still with out a second mastery. :(
about the bags: what is the name of the item? I can't found an item named "bag"

It's this item for the bags : "records\item\miscellaneous\inventorysack.dbr"
And for this map i used 70.000 exp for the fisrt stop, and added the rest.

but for de experience... still having problems :(
I set 70000 in one action, and111186424 for the second action, in the same trigger, and I try split them on differents triggers. But still having one single mastery. :(

Hmm by the way you are trying this with a new character everytime, right?
I used 70.000 for this map and it worked for me, this is a part of the quest file i used:

yes, of course, whit a new character every time.
mmm, I surrender, I do exactly that you describe, the game give me experience two times, but sitll with only one mastery.

Thanks Mad Man. The only difference I found is that you use tokens to give experience. But I can't create tokens (I try everithing, including reinstall the game).
I give experience like this:
TRIGGER
-CONDITION on "interact with NPC1"
-ACTION "give xxx experience"
Is that ok?
pd: I try to give xp with two different NPC's, NPC1 70000 - NPC2 111930000 (and variants 50000/111950000, etc). not works. :(

Hmm i think its the tokens that you are missing, i didn't try without tokens, so i'm not sure, but here are some things you can try to get your token file to work.
Ok to be able to edit your token file, you may have to manualy edit the questeditor.ini file, and correct the path to the tokens.bin file to the right one.
I have a bug that kinda locks the questeditor.ini file on a tokens.bin file from time to time, and i can't use any other token files without manually editing the ini file.
The ini file is a text file and easy to edit without danger with the notepad, it is located in your Titan Quest folder that is in you My Documents, not the installation folder.
Also be sure to turn your tokens.bin file attributes to "archive" (the file located in your mod's Quest source folder). By default, it is created as "read-only" therefore you can't edit it.
So be sure to change the attributes of the tokens.bin file to "archive", and to edit your questeditor.ini file to point to your tokens.bin file.
Let me know what you get after that.
