Pay attention while farming!

Specifically when you are sprinting to a boss (like Typhon especially). For those who don't know what I mean by "sprinting". It's when you get enough +run speed gear to just run pass all the trash monsters to get right to the boss at the end. Now for those who do this, *pay attention* to the monsters that you run by!

First time I've noticed something was on the cyclops at the very end of the Typhon run, he was wielding something very different from the normal clubs they usually carry. It looked like it was made of ice and it was sparking snowflakes around it. Now, I had no idea that monsters actually wore what they were going to drop. So in my excitement and shock I did a 180 on my sprint and charged head on to about 5 cyclops and almost died, lol. But I did live and you guessed it, Demeter's Sorrow dropped, a very nice mace with a freeze chance on it.

About 10 runs later, with my eyes peeled every trip after the mace, I found an axe on the smaller minotaurs. I almost missed it because it's hard to see it all when I'm speeding by. I knew it didn't look like a normal axe so if you think you see something, kill it! :)

Might as well make the most of your farming. ;)

Yes, this is indeed one of the things that makes Titan Quest a great game. I've had two Cyclops type monsters end up wielding Demeter's Sorrow so far, and I even got a screenie of the second one :razz:.

yea ive found quite a few nice pieces doing that, and any def/war build will be smart to watch for that 50 hp regen axe on them... im still looking...

Got a Thunderbolt sword while running through to 2nd telkine, act2 of legendary. It was on a shadowstalker, very hard to miss, it looked awesome on that particular monster. :)

Whilst doing Legendary Typhon runs I spotted an odd looking sword in the hands of an Atomatai (sp?) - the thing looked like a lollypop :lol:

That might be a nice sword for bosses. Frostburn slows the total speed of an enemy when you hit them right? By the way, what's Squall? I've never heard of that skill before, so I presume it's a monster skill.

You never know, they might have intended that sword to look like that, as weird as it is.

Squall is from the Storm sphere. Causes archers to miss more frequently.

if u actually look closely at monsters when they die, u will notice that most of them will even drop their armors they are wearing. (from wat ive seen anyway)

I'm 90% sure that this "pagos" sword is a bug. It seems to have some kind of alignment texture applied instead of the real one. Happens if you work with layers in a picture tool and then save it with the the top layer hidden. I use this kind of alignment texture myself for positioning features on the female/male body. Yellow/blue is a natural choice because those are complementary colors.
