It's Babylon. I read somewhere (and I think it was an official post or a review) that we'll be spending a short time in the Hanging Gardens.

From the last interview on gamespot:
We have only a few short weeks until our final release candidate goes out the door, yet the final chapter has yet to be written. That chapter can only be written by you, the daring adventurer or the inspired modder, who will take our tool set and create worlds yet to be dreamed of. That's the chapter that I can't wait to read.
So i guess its for the custom games?

you can mix custom maps with the normal maps. In the main menu you have a option to play custom maps.

Oh, that is neat. Never seen an open ended game that was meant to be modded to close. Nice.

lol, duh...but some people would like to dream:p . I can't remember who posted it, but it was about Babylon. Can't remember if Babylon was that big...but hey, it has some monsters with an attitude problem that need fixing.
And as for modded to close...I meant that once you finish the game, you can go ahead and continue, nearly infinitely, with the editors and the modders. That is, if they make one good enough. And yes, that is a challenge...

GS: We know that ancient Greece and Egypt are settings in the game. But where else will you be able to go? Will you also see ancient landmarks, such as any of the wonders of the ancient world?
BS: You will see some of the ancient wonders of the world, including the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. We are trying to deliver the experience of being in the ancient world, [so you'll be] seeing the villages, cities, and great wonders as they were when they were new and alive."

"
Of course, being able to create your own unique and distinct character is but a part of Titan Quest. Your main job in the game is to take that character and carve a swath across the ancient world. The game's first act is set in Greece, where you'll battle many creatures and monsters from Greek mythology, such as the cyclops and the gorgons. The second act then takes you south to Egypt, where you'll plunder temples and pyramids and battle mummies and other creatures from Egyptian lore.
The game's third and final act will take you east. Iron Lore recently revealed that Asia is the setting of the game's last environment, and you'll get there by first battling along the famous Silk Road, the ancient trading route that linked the East and the West.
Once you reach Asia, you'll experience some of the game's most-beautiful environments. Where as Greece is arid and rocky, and Egypt dry and desert, Asia is lush and green and filled with all sorts of interesting settings, such as the Great Wall, as well as imperial cities and towns. "

So there you go...

Hmm, there's something not right here if you ask me. If any of these areas we're talking about are big enough to warrant their own "chapter", why aren't the devs advertising Titan Quest as having four chapters as opposed to three? I'm sceptical towards the idea of it being Babylon or the Silk Road. It even seems weird to me that a "mod chapters" tab would be added to that same screen, especially since (afaik, correct me if I'm wrong) we won't be able to take characters between the regular game and mod chapters.
However, I have no ideas to offer myself, so I dunno! I find it very mysterious.

NP ;)
I'm just showing what's been said about it by the creator. Babylon pretty much sits (sat) right between Egypt and Persia, we know that we have Egypt as an area as well as China. So it would be safe to say that one could easily pass through Mesopotamia (and Babylon) on the way to China, the 3rd area.
If there is indeed going to be a 4th area I have no clue what it is. (although from the pic it certainly looks like there will be) They very well could be saving that tab for a planned Expansion Pack...who knows.
I was just pointing out that the Hanging Gardens & Babylon would most likely be included in one of the 2 areas we know about. No need for a 4th to include just them.
The statement "3rd and final area" seems pretty clear cut (yes I know they mentioned "secrets" and game items not discussed)
At this point speculation of a 4th area would be just that...guessing ;)

See the 'Greece' button near the top... It's the only one there in the demo, but the check the size of it. There's room for three on that window.

Hmph... probably. But who knows. That screenie doesn't look like fake. Though I hope there is a fourth area. Does seem exciting...

2 theories:
1) There are only 3 acts. But between Egypt or Asia there is a long road, which should take you through Babylon and the hanging gardens (the fourth place).
2) There are 4 acts, and the quest-log from the demo has changed in the final release.

501105 asked this question. "Is there a 4th act in the game and if so wath do you do in it?"
This is what Eyejinx had to say about it, "There are areas in the game that we haven't talked about, intentionally, and we're not going to start talking about them now. As much as we need to talk about the game for publicity and to get people excited about it, there should be some things that players get to discover for themselves when they play it."
The term "areas" could mean another act or it could mean an extension in any one of the three acts? A very vague and mysterious answer, but it was an answer to an act 4 question nonetheless.

i think its greece. the quest log map and the screenshot look very similar. also if u look on the left side of the map in the screenshot ther r names of cities: megara, sparta and helos. sparta and helos r greek towns in the demo. also, look at the statue on the right side: it looks greek.
