View Full Version : Thoughts on the game interface?

I've only seen 2 pics of the interface and i've been trying to figure it out. It looks like the 8 left icons would be hotkeys for skills, then health and mana pots. Maybe the 2 attack icons would be the active left/right mouse button attacks? Then maybe character screen and inventory next(going from left to right). It looks nice and easy to use and the more i look, the more i cant wait to play this game :D

sorrry to break your bubble but the interface shown there isnt the final interface iron lore said that was only a test interface.

they want everything in the game to look extremely good so the interface too so expect a beatiful interface.

Not surprizing there trying to keep everything a secret i wouldn't be surprized if they had the real interface done and just used that interface for the purpose of the gameplay movie

'bout the gameplay movies.. is it me or does it look a tad bit slow?? some stuff (like the enemy flying away with that aura spell) seems almost slow-motion :?

but i also noticed the running around, and the swinging of the weapons wasn't that fast
i hope there are some (attack-) speed mods in the game because the slow pace might be a turn-off.. wanting to hit your char in the face and yell things like 'my grandma runs faster than that' :shock:

As for the runing i think its like diablos walk run system execpt more of a jog/sprint because sometimes hes running really fast other times like u said kind of slow, the rest i think the speed depends on your char but i can't be sure

To me the demo seemed a little sluggish and repetative in the fighting. It almost seemed like he was invincible and you just addressed each attacker and moved through the rooms. I hope that the monsters are tough like in Diablo and you have to deal with fire, lightning, cold and stuff like that with resists. I know its not Diablo but alot of that game is something that should go forward into the future.

Hope they use alot of those things in this game. Hope the sounds of clashing shields and swords is good too cause that brings you into the game more. :lol:

Just letting you know that those guys where probally way stronger then they shoulda been in the gameplay movies.
