These items are mostly pointless (if amusing) anything affected by them tends to stand around doing nothing and runs around next to you so as soon as possession ends you have an angry mob (or 3 or 4) standing next to you and there's nothing you can do about it, essentially on harder difficulty levels you end up carrying a time-bomb around with you.

IMO any/all of:

- remove this property (or make it an active ability so you can turn it on if you want to ?)
- give the user control over the possessee as a proper minion so it can be sent away/into combat
- remove/adjust the behaviour that causes them to follow the player around so they either stay where they are and fight nearby foes, or so they stay further from the player / and/or when they effect ends, that they run back to their start position rather than mashing the player.
- tweak the AI/respoonse times/aggro radius/whatever os that these minions actually enter combat regularly rather than standing by while the player is smashed, then joining in the smashing while he's trying to fend off other mobs.
