1) Is it me or does the ability to spin your character around seem kind of a useless feature? While I'm at it there seems to be a lot of waisted space in showing the character that could have been better used.

2) Why can you only have one ring for each hand?

3) Why No Shoes or boots to equip? I'd really like to see this added to get speed added (both attack and general run speed)

4) The inventory/stash/packback....REALLY needs ONE more row across! 5 is a odd number and 6 would allow items 3 down to be collected one above the other.

5) Really getting killed on selling items, so could there be a trade skill or way to get better price exchange from the merchant?

6) I've seen some locked chests that can't be opened (shows something like locked by sentry or head guard) Can we get a lock pick skill or mod to items that give a % chance to pick locks?

Just my 2 cents worth ...but I don't hold much hope that it will make much of a difference unless I sparked a nerve with a lot of others that agree with something I said....:errf:

1) Don't you want to see what enemies see when your character is running away...just kidding. I have no idea why he spins.
2) If you get enough rings on one hand, you wouldn't need a weapon...just punch the enemies.
3) I wondered the same thing about footgear. I guess it was because of the greeves that they had in game. Also, I can't remember if the greeves armor extended over the foot.
4) Agreed...just one more would make carrying armors that much easier.
5) I think that is the gameplay and getting better items. More you play, more gold...better items. Kind of time consuming, but thats the game.
6) I don't know about that one. That sounds like a rouge ability. If other characters took it, would it dilute the rouge type idea. Now, if you could bash it open with a warrior or cast a spell with a wizard type, that may work. Plus, I think the chests being locked prohibits you from just running, getting the chest, and leaving whereas you have to knock off the boss guy that is around.

In all honesty, some great ideas! I would like to see the shoes ideas and other poeples opinions.

I liked these point of views.
Agreed.

1) I like the character view: “Hey, my char looks cool!” Practically for those who often check how things look stupid on characters.

2) It’s a matter of balance. Jewellery can pack the same magical power like armor but on tiny room. Where would the powers end if you had so many rings on your hands like a gangsta rapper?

3) You can have more visible differences at shin guards than at sandals. The shin guards were a typical protection in the ancient times. BTW, these shin guards/greaves/whatever can have magic affixes which grant a movement speed bonus.

4) Oh yes, one more row would be so much better! It happens very quickly that you can’t pick up spears anymore, although that is also handy because of the frequent accidentally pick-ups. I guess it’s intentional that you can’t carry so many armor pieces that way.

5) I’m still waiting for the RPG where you don’t swim in gold after a while. TQ could be a potential candidate. It’s intentional that so many items which can drop in TQ aren’t all supposed to be carried to the next vendor for making a fortune.

6) Funny but either it’s a bug that can happen sometimes or you just slipped past a boss/guardian of the chest. It never happened to me before. My eyes are more on the enemies than the treasure first.

replying:

1) and ppl who like asses can enjoy the feature too

2) none cuz he couldnt lift his hands to either swing a weapon or cast a spell :shifty:

3) well good thing you have shin guards. they really helped you when your feet are bleeding from all the rocks you stepped on.

4) agree, and i request first top-down THEN left to right stashing, instead of first filling up the above "row" with items and then going down.

5) no sheisse, i just picked up the items i needed for gear last time, only sold the magical one's :p

6) maye not with you but it happened to me as well, and i cleared each and every enemy/could be guard in the entire demo. couldn't figure out what went wrong. sucked tho, because generally there are a fair amount of magical items to be found in those chests at the centaur.

I’m definitely not a footwear expert but weren’t anyone running around in sandals in ancient times? I can’t help but sandals combined with different colors of (magic?!) socks would look too silly.
Don’t be afraid of sore feet – all our characters will still wear sandals but these are simply not powered and padded by Magic™!

1. The character rotates becasue some folks want to see what their gear looks like from all angles.
2. Characters can only wear two rings for balancing purposes. Rings are pretty powerful items.
3. There were no boots in ancient Greece. But there are some epic and legendary leg armor that does cover the entire foot and leg. (Shhh - dont tell the historians we cheated a bit!)
4. Your inventory expands with additional bags as you progress through the game. Patience - grasshopper.
5. Once beyond the first couple hours of gameplay, players usually only find its viable to sell yellow or better items. Common gear is common gear.
6. Chests are locked to prevent looting exploits. Boss runs would be much easier if you didnt even have to kill the boss :) Sometimes when the chest doesnt open after killing the boss it is becasue another champion monster has spawned within the chest's radius. Kill him too and fortune and glory shall be yours...

i'm sorry ~V~ but i think the answer at the sixth question is wrong, i killed EVERYTHING i could find but they still wouldn't open. it just said "locked by guardian".

Thanks for the reply....

Still ONE more row across would have been better, 5 is just odd and really messes with storing items that you would have be able to put in together that are 3 down that way you would have one above and below.

Yeah, it seems a little weird to me that everything else in this game seems to be optimised for simplicity/ease of use so that the player can just get on with the real gameplay (things like close/more frequent waypoints, or being able to resell items at original price)... I would almost have expected the inventory to have that sixth row just to keep it easy.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not complaining. I'm sure the devs have a good reason for the inventory size being as it is.

I tell ya.. it is not the same. When you played with your little sexy amazon (or whatever) for 100 hours, then you slowly begin to build up a special relationship. I can't express how much I wanted to rip off the dress of the skinny little sorceress in d2... woups :shifty: :... ahh nevermind.. please don't quote me on this.

1) This is an outstanding option. As others have said, you can twirl your character to see how the armour looks on your character.

4) I agree totally.

5) By the end of normal, my soothsayer had 6 million gold and I estimate I had spent about 2-3 million along the way on vendor items.

1) So you can see all of your character from all horizontal angles

2) It's all about balance, if you had a ring on each finger balancing the game would be a nightmare!

3) Some items do give +Speed, i just found greaves that give +13% movement :) + there aren't any 'shoes' because in the times where this was set everyone wore ankle guards and sandles!

4) Not much i can say about this than i've never had a problem. :p

5) Gold seems to spring out of thin air for me, i've never had a shortage past lvl 10 :p

6) You've got to kill the boss they're being guarded by!

i was gonna say the item storage in the bags and money are fine

If you add rows youll be able to hold even more the challenge is supposed to be on what to decide to keep and not and what to try and sell if it was even bigger then you could make even more. I think its fine like it is

I am in act2 Epic and have 9million gold and i ahve bought 2 items for over 1 million already I fail to see how you can have money problems if you jsut pick up the yellows and sell them, it may be a few more trips to town but youll have all the money you cna handle

2. Its a common known fact that with too many rings on one hand, the magical power of the rings themselves would cause your hand to be overwhelmed and explode.

well all i think they could do with the armor set out is add some belts/leggings/Maybe ear rings, because it looks kinda stupid running arround with a chest/boots/gloves/helm with no leggings and a belt.

the bags are fine but maybe another row on the top would make it better not sure, but all i really want with this feature is the shared stash option.

i also want the damage metres fixed because i saw at one time i did a hit of 12450 (Shield smash attack that also hits with the weapon at the same time inflicking twice the damage both crit) yet it only shows my biggest hit as 10470.
