Diablo returns - not only to the shelves, but also in this next update to Diablo 2 Immortal, which is all about the original, and all about boss battles.
Hunt the Three across the ancient world, hunt their minions to complete new epic quests, and discover legendary items and yet unknown threats in the dark corners of the map.

Known Issues

* Vertical bars (http://h11.abload.de/img/bloop2s8vb.jpg) visible on Pala/Assa background
- Paladin test relics. A corrected img.arc can be found here (http://filesmelt.com/dl/Img.arc). Downloads have been updated.

* Small 4:3 resolutions show black bar behind the skill menu
- Native to Kirii's UI (http://www.titanquest.net/tq-forum/threads/35215-Diablo-UI-%28Unfinished%29). Try another resoultion.

* Relics cannot be attached to javelins
- Current state of the art for 1h ranged weapons. One can use the "relics in all" cheat to allow it.

* Next difficulty does not unlock after final battle
- Caused by Hades 3rd form (the bosses "spirits" when they die) suiciding before you get to hurt him.
- Kill the boss with an area-of-effect DOT... or just unlock with Defiler. Fixed in next version.

* Bugged Offering, Lampido, Lurker and Generals quest rewards
- Accidentially removed the respective skills in the Lilith merge. Fixed in next version.

* Djed of Osiris description still states that it is for weapons
- Not true anymore: It now enchants armor. Fixed in next version.


Please use this thread to report any more finds related to this version.


As the name suggests, D2I is built upon the Immortal Throne expansion, so use it with normal TQ at your own peril.
Though it does fix many issues of the original game by itself, it is also recommended that you get the Bugfix Fanpatch (http://www.titanquest.net/tq-forum/threads/29712-REL-Bugfix-patch-1.17).

is there a skill like nether strike/lethal strike that blinks you while damage the enemy?

by the way, when i chose custom quest, there is no Diablo 2 Immortal select char, only Diablo 2 Immortal world1

Dragon Flight can be used for quick movement. It's damage is charged by Tiger Strike.

Hi Violos, I've noticed two problems today...one would be an item, the Paladin Plate, it still shows that it's a set item. And the second one, I don't know if it's a problem with this release, or it just happened, but at the completion of the oracle quest, although I've received 5% Poison resistance, it isn't shown in the character window.

Hey

The bounce map is (EDIT: was) indeed missing. You can copy one from any other mod, or play without one, but then do not forget to triple-load your character.

I will see if I can fix that from here when I get to a computer.

The attack speed is also a bug. :/ The quest, though, should work.

And yes, Tiger Strike does that. What's a Nether Strike?

First want to thank for the mod it looks good :] but I have a problem I can not figure out, I started the game fine and most everything works great, but I can not attack, I tried to look for a reconfig for it but it looks as if the char is stuttering and refuses to attack the first mobs at the save the horse. I also tried the 75 player and could not attack with that one ither.

You will not need xMax to have a challenge. While it starts out easy, D2I gets brutal in higher difficulties.

If it is items you are looking for, the added danger you are facing is already being rewarded by better drops, and more experience.

Look at the tutorial popup - attacking with a staff requires you to use the respective skill.

Haven't played TQ much since I took my Necromancer through Normal. My assassin is hanging out around lvl. 12 in Lilith.

If you wait a little, you get her fixed (sorry :p), loaded with tasty provisions, and ready to face new evils in Jalavia.

I am working on bringing the new bosses and endgame content of 1.44 to D2 Lilith as we speak.
I'm trying to figure out and fix some quest stuff in the process (would be easier if it wasn't in French) and correcting the Babellfish dialogues, so it takes a while, but should be here soon.

While this step was mostly a big revamp of the Lilith merging files (http://www.titanquest.net/tq-forum/threads/42868-RELEASE-Diablo-2-Lilith/page3?p=458083&viewfull=1#post458083), hybrid Barbarians and future Monks may enjoy the cooler and more effective staff attack. The last few undead (dogs) have been stripped of their once universal life/magic immunity (they had hidden away some passive skills) and as always many small things have been adjusted here and there.


The biggest news is probably that the converted Diablo 2 loot keeps pouring in, to a point where people should start to notice some well-known items even without farming extensively.
Those lucky (and high leveled) enough to find the legendary sword of the Heavens, Azurewrath, can even get a first taste of playing a Paladin.

sorceress skill lightening says its meant to fire off 5 projectiles but only fires 1

Lightning fires one long streak - which actually consists of 5 parts, but do not worry about that too much.

The important thing is the effect, which is that slow / charging enemies who get hit by the entire length of it take a lot of damage.

It is a rather potent and spammable single-target spell, with the potential to do even more harm when you catch several enemies in a line. I usually try to always get 2, and aim for the one in the back.

The weakness, like in D2, is that you have to stop in order to spam it.

also is the paladin open to public yet or still the beta testers? Reading up on its progress I'm getting excited bout it and imagining the synergies I can come up with the classes combined with paladin :)

it appears that -%energy cost reduces the damage energy shield takes massively
theres almost no drain whatso ever when you have -72%energy cost in normal just did a quick test character with the skill maxed out, well against mobs at leat

if i take the necklace of energy goes done tons put it on it barely moves same with if take off the archmage clasp so if get minus 100%energy cost i think the character would be immortal

although in legendary it appears the skills doesnt do its job the energy doesnt go done when attacked but health does, even though health does recover fast it is still possible to die
but if you manage to escape a mob you can easily gain back all your health if you let yourself get attacked once or twice

You are right. Good find!

I tried so many things to make that skill work the way it works in D2 instead of just being another boring shield. Unfortunately, player skills cannot have an "AI" that controls them like item skills can. So in the end I settled with what is basically an automatic heal that activates on being hit.

That means it does not protect you fom being one-shot, by its nature. But if it costs no mana, a high level shield would indeed heal everything lesser than that, and never run out! :o

I did not think of this combination. Luckily I already have an idea how to fix it.

yay im excited for the paladin :D probably my fav class in D2, though is prayer gonna directly benefit meditation like they made it in later patches of D2?

Yes - Meditation will be an addition to Prayer.

I made some suitable auras combine with others in order for them to synergize.

Awesome I can't wait for it to come out I got big plans for paladin classes hopefully it'll work out the way I envision depending on the auras :)
