Thinking of starting new character any ideas of a good class?

I have a lvl 38 Assassin which i am working on at the moment hes in Epic Difficulty in Delphi. At the moment hes killing everything easily. I am thinking of making another char after i get this guy through greece. I'm not sure whats another good class to make i'm fairly new this is the only character i've made apart from another guy ideas of class for new char would be helpful.

Epic is fairly easy, actually. Normal was a good tutorial, so you know your way around the game, you can get Legendary gear very early and so on. However, there are a few surprises... I'd say keep on playing hehe

Mage? Archer? Petmaster? A lof of options. You could go with Warfare or one of those for a change. Are you playing IT?

Hmm... I'd say try Haruspex (Hunting + Dream). Best archer class in many player's opinions. Or maybe Ternion Diviner

Yeh i'm playing Tqit i've played titanquest before i had a lvl 35 thane. and i got up to epic megara i also had 2 other chars but they did no good only got them to lvl 16
Before i started my assassin in tqit i hadn't played the game in a year so i am fairly rusty if you know what i mean. i have forgotton everything. Epic is fairly new to me as i never got up to it:eek:. i'll continue with my assassin up to the end of greece. at the moment i'm in parnassus. Thanx for the ideas :)

Why stop at end of Epic Greece? If you haven't play the game all the way through, then it's a good idea to do so as there are still a few challenges to face yet.

You've tons of choices for chars, but what do you want to try next? Another melee one or something completely different? Have you got the fanpatch installed? It fixes most of the things that were wrong in the game so it's worth considering downloading.

a porphet is a good character ive started one and its pretty fun and a bit challenging cos theres quiet a few ways you can go with it so

As Darklightr says, there's a list in the first post of the fanpatch thread with details of what's been fixed in all the versions. Skills wise, Warfare's Triumph synergy, Hunting's Trail Blazing synergy, Earth's Coredweller Wildfire synergy, and Spirit's Ravages of Time and the Liche King's Arcane Blast syngeries and Circle of Power skill don't work as they should have so there's no need to put points into them if you don't have the fanpatch.

Some of the quests don't work properly (not completing properly or bonuses aren't applied correctly) and some items are missing without having the fanpatch installed. The Hermes' Sandals relic for instance, which gives increased movement and a possible health regen bonus only appears if you have the fanpatch.

You can play the game perfectly well without it; I did for many years. However, as I got a new PC and had to reinstall TQIT I decided to install the fanpatch right from the start this time around. Also, if you want to coop/multiplay everyone must either have the fanpatch installed or not, you can't mix with some having it and others not.

i'm going to buy a new tqit or the gold edition because my tq and tqit are really old and scratched if i do will i have to restart the game like reinstall it or will my progress from the one i've got now still be there? And i probably will install fanpatch but it means i can't really go n multiplayer right

No, it means if you've got friends you should play MP with them, My recommendation is: Don't play on public Titan Quest servers. Players have proven they can be unreliable in public TQ, and can abuse others thru the game. Only play with people you know and trust. Oh, and you need to have the exact same games. Fanpatch, mods, everything. So have fun :)
And no, if you back-up for save files (In Documents/My Games/ TitanQuest and Documents/My Games/ TitanQuest - Immortal Throne) you won't have to start everything over again. I also recommend baking up your TQVault data (if you use it) When you reinstall TQ, you just copy over the data you backed up to where you took it from (Path above)
