Hello,

first of all I want to quote a buddy of mine as we played Underlord the first time:

"This is Titan Quest as it have should been from the beginning."

I agree with him.



Now I have some questions. I was not able to find answers anywhere (neither here nor in other forums):


1. Is the resistance reduction of Monkey King's Trickery stacking with Trance of Wrath?

2. If the Trickery stack with ToW - do i necessarily have to hit the monster with my weopon to apply Trickery's resistance reduction or do the waves of vitality damage from ToW trigger Monkey King's Trickery?

3. Does the reduction of Monkey King's Trickery stack with Necrosis?

4. Can I apply Monkey King's Trickery throwing Ice Shards at monsters?

5. Enough Monkey Kings. How can I increase the damage of Scatter Shot's fragments beside putting more Skill Points into it? Dexterity as it increases piercing damage? +% piercing damage on equipment? Flat piercing damage on non-weapon equipment?

6. Are the Earth Enchantment's (and its Mods) improvements also effecting the shield attacks from defense mastery?

7. Disort Reality does physical damage. Strenght is said to increase physical damage. Does strenght increase this spells physical damage (and accordingly some spells from Earth Mastery)?

1 - Yes, they different types of debuffs. ToW is percentage based, Monkey King is flat.

2 - yes

3 - yes, again, different types of debuffs.

4 - no, ice shards don't apply any weapon effects, only +% cold damage buffs and + total/elemental %.

5. +% Piercing damage and +% Total damage, pretty much the only way without investing in dex like a dunce.

6. Shield attacks = shield attack+weapon attack simultaneously. Whatever affects your weapon affects your shield attacks. +% Damage, chance for X to proc, etc.

7. STR does not affect spell damage, only attack damage.

So there is no other way to apply Monkey King's resistance debuff beside weapon/shield attacks and some "special" skills like Bone Spire and Throwing Knifes? Damn, I liked these Monkey Relics but when I hit something with my weapon I dont want it to be debuffed - I want it dead.

May I ask another Question?

- Heart of the Frost confuses me. It says: x% slowed for 2 seconds and x% attack and movement retaliation for 3 seconds.

What does the slowed for 2 seconds mean? Total speed? And how to apply it? It doesnt have a radius. Again weapon attacks? Does the slowing stack with the 3 sec. retaliations? Or with Chill of Tartarus?

Is there a general rule of thumb what is stacking and what not?

And why are game development companies not hiring the guys that proofed their creativity and programming skills in Mods like this?

Maybe my question is dumb but are Barnanu and Typhon's meteors projectiles? Because my stalker with over 100% ctap still get killed with those things

No, they are not considered being projectiles. They are more like the fragments of Eruption or Volcanic Orb, little AoE spells. Projectiles are arrows (or something similar like the "thorns" the flowers in Act 3 spit at you), staff shots, Ice Shards, Throwing Knives (you'll notice that all of those are affected by +% projectile speed on items) and I think also those spikes the Anaurochs in Act 4 emit sometimes.
Maybe I forgot some others, but those are the main variants, I think.

thx for ur answer. Because i saw a video of a haru with 100% avoid tanked 3 barnanu in IT.
