[Shadow Blade]

I am so bored right now. I came up with this viewing a few of the story threads. Here's what you have to do.

- I will start by writing a random paragraph. You continue by writing another paragraph.
- no plagiarisum
- no double-posting
- be random. I don't care what you write down as long as it is legal
- no inappropreate images
- you must continue the story. After you finish your paragraph, you may comment about the thread or anything else.

"What was that?" Nicole asked. It was the middle of the night, yet she was out in the middle of it, hunting what people rarely want to hunt: ghosts. She had been a geek in the paranormal as long as she could remember. She was so eager to search Pilsberry Farms that night. She had created her own Ghost Hunting team, even if she was only 15. She didn't care. She was not scared. Who could blame her?

She turned around and saw a bloated, bat-shaped thing with a single burning three lobed eye.
"Greetings, mortals" it said in a raspy voice
"Who are you? What are you?" asked Nicole fearfully
"They call me......the haunter of the dark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shining_Trapezohedron). You see that bright box you posses? That is the.........shining trapezohedron. It........summoned me." It said quietly
"What do you want from us?"
"You wish to..............disturb the dead. I can not...........let you do this." It said
and then the Haunter leaped at Nicole.

"Nicole!" Ashley yelled. She grabbed a large stick, larger than her arm. She threw it just at the right angle to thwok the beast in the face. It yelped and studdered. "You cannot........... kill me mortal! I am............ immortal!" the Haunter screeched. It charged her. Ashley waited for the worst. She grabbed another stick and was ready to swing. Nicole watched from a distance. She was unsure what to do. She closed her eyes and waited. It had been a minute and nothing happened. She opened her eyes to find a bat at her feet. She looked around and found Nicole, standing and looking healthy. Then, who was that she wondered. He walked up to her. "Hey, you okay?" he asked. She nodded. "Who... who are you?" He put his bow down. "I'm..." "Carter!" she announced. Carter seemed surprised about this

"You killed it!" Ashley shouted joyously!
"Fools, Nyarlethotep cannot be killed!" shouted somebody from behind a gravestone.
"OMG who was that?" Nicole and Ashley shouted in unison
"I am professor Hanlin of Miskatonic University. Are you foolish enough to believe a god could be killed?"
"If he was a god, why is there a dead bat at my feat?" Ashley inquired.
"You did not see how Carter defeated it. He smashed the Trapzehedron. That was what bound Nyarlethotep into his avatar. By destroying you have unleashed him into the mortal world" Professor hanlin replied.
Then, a big man with a flamethrower stepped out from behind a tree.
I suggest anybody who wishes to write here should read the wikipedia article on Nyarlethotep.

OMA said" you killed all the monsters?f*** you, leave some for me next time."
Nicole,kind of frightened, said "Can you creepy old dudes-"
Suddenly Rita runs up from behind shouting " help their after me'
They all looked behind themselves and sees two worm-like creatures

Hanlin pulls out his tommy gun and OMA pulls out his molative cocktail and carbine rifle.
Shaking, rita pulls out her knife and Nicole reaches into her pocket and pulls out some chalk dust while carter is just standing their looking confused.
"Whoa where did you get the powder of Iban-ghazi?" Hanlin shouts.

"What the Heck is a powder of Iban-ghazi?"Nicole asked, voice filled with terror
"When Abdul Alhazared created the dread Necronomicon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necronomicon) 100 of the pages desribing the city of R'lyeh were said to be so horrible, that they crubled to dust, and since they were pages of the necromonicon, theywere filled with magical powder"Hanlin explained
"Enough dialog here, let fight the dholes!"OMA shouted, and as he did so flung his molotav coctail at the first of the dholes. It recolied and leaped at OMA. Seamingly unscared, he shot him with his carbine rifle in the head, while Professor Hanlin shot the other one in head with his tommy gun. The first dhole was defeated, and OMA turned his attention to the second. He burned a hole in its bodywith his flamethrower, but then the dhole leaped out at him and pinned him to the ground.
"Fling the powder"Hanlin shouted
Terrified, Nicole flung the powder at the dhole, and it howled in pain, then fell down dead.

OMA said to Rita "How did you outrun those dholes?
Rita replied" Im a proffessional runner, who do you think funds our group?"
"Whatever, lead us to your place" hanlin said
But ashley said "how do we know we can trust you?"
"good point, well leave you guys to stop the world from ending by yourself." OMA replies.
"Fine" Ashley said.
carter looks around confused and said " where am i"
Nicole laughs and said " Stop joking"
Carter said "Seriously, all i remember is a pitch black, tall man running through me.'
OMA and Hanlin look at each other. Then after a short period of time hanlin takes out a book. He gives to carter and says "read it" carter, looking nervous reads it. Nicole recongnizes it as latin. Suddenly mist surround carter and then dashes at OMA, blasting him back
Carter, embarresed, says" oops, sorry"
Hanlin expains" you just cast the dread curse of Azathoth one of the most powerful spells. Since you didnt gives it a target, it attacked the most formidable being, OMA"
Suddenly they here something crie out "Tekeli-li"

The group turned around, and befire them was a gigantic mass of amorphous creatures with many eyes.
"First Dholes and now Shoggoths" Hanlin sighed
"Hey, cant Carter just cast that spell and kill them all?" Nicole asked
"No, there are over 50 of them. He will need a different spell" hanlin replied
He then took out the Latin boook, and flipped to a page.
" Carter, read this. This is a spell called greater banishment. It will banish these to Antartica, where they origante from. we must protect him while he casts it"
Suddenly, one of the shoggoths leaped at OMA, growing claws as it did so. He took out a bullwhip a smashed the shoggoth. Then another one leaped at Nicole. She ran back and picked up carter's bow and shot at it in the eye. It howled in pain and retreated back into the group of shoggoths. Suddenly a blue light surrounded the shoggoths like a hologram, and theyw ere lifted into the sky and then they vanished.
"Can somebody please explain what is going on here?"Nicole said exasperated.

They were planted in an unknown area. OMA looked around.
"S***! Where did they go? Where did we go?" Ashley didn't want to know. A strange growl from the bushes behind the cluster of bodies. they jumped and a larger than man creature came out. "What is it!" Nicole screamed. Whatever it was, it seemed to be friendly.
"Don't worry bout me. I is friend." a cyclopes came shifting from the bushes. Hanlin,confused but relieved, seemed to shuffle towards the beast, trying not to stare into the 1 eye.
"Who... who are you?" Nicole asked first.
"I is frind." it said.
"Name?"
"Oh! Sim. Sim da selops." Hanlin got closer, and the monster backed away.
"Ah! Stranger danger!"

'Hey i thought i invoked the uber-cliched 'can someone pleasse explain what is going on?'"
"Sorry, we lack the god-power summon plot expostion. Lets just hope this cyclopse does." Hanlin explained
"Ahem- in the beggining, there was only darkness, ruled by the outer gods" the cyclops began
"Err, no need for the titan quest references"Oma interjected
"Ok. long story short, The haunter in the dark was an avatar of the outer god Nyarlethotep. By realeasing his bindings, you have unleashed his soul into the waking world. We must now go on a cliched quest to stop him. We must go to the Kadath, home of the outer gods, a place where no mortal has stepped. Carter we believe you are the key to this. The man who took your memory was the dark one, an avatar of the crawling chaos. we blieeve that you can enter the dreamlands, where the Kadath rests. Now we must seek the the lurker at the threshold (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yog-Sothoth) who can see all and knows how we can obtain your memory."

"Hold on, say wha?!" Carter blurted. The cyclops looked at the puny human with its one eye, darting left to right like he was examining the sir.
"No, you iz rite hunam." it spoke. OMA unleashed his pocketknife, and the cyclopes ran. Ashley called after it in a panic, not wanting it to go away. She caught the beast and brought it back to the area.
"Soo... OMA... knife? Really?" she convicted. OMA placed the knife on the ground and kicked it away.
