This is a new story. Just sit back and read.

Chapter 1

I didn't want it to go this way. I didn't ask for anything to happen like this. Worst vacation ever. Anyways, Its much better at the begining...

It all started on the plane. I was heading for the terminal. The one thing going thru my head was "I'm going to Greece!!!!" Although I had a few troubles on the way. I was talking to this one woman who was speaking a whole different language.
"No, no. $50."
"I'm sorry, what?"
"$50. Lo siento senor."
"I don't understand you"
"Lo siento. No habla ingles."
And she got on the microphone and I guess called for help. Some dude was running towards us and asks: "Is there anything wrong sir?" I nodded and said I didn't understand the lady. He looks at her and goes "Ahhhhh. No, no. You want that line." and he points to what seemed to be a mile long line. I stared in disbelief and trudged my way to the back.
Then I get to the tunnel of the plane. And now some girl was still speaking Spanish. And before I got to speak, she says something on the microphone. Then the same guy comes running and says: "Ah. Lo siento Margarita." And hands me my tickets again and I was heading down the tunnel. Then on the plane, I sit down and there was this woman flirting with someone. They seemed to not notice me. Then some other girl comes and starts yelling at me because I was in her seat. I look at my ticket and it says I was in E-3. My luck, huh? There was an up-side to the flight. I had no one in the 3 seats by me, so when the seatbelt sign went off, I was able to lift the armrests and lay down. No one seemed to care, so I had the entire ride to peace. Some how, I dozed off.

I was back home in my pool. My wife, Katrina, was on the inflatable bed. My two children, Ash and Frankie, were playing with each other. Throwing the ball across the pool. It was apperantly a party. There were lights on everywhere. There was music going on. And there was presents on the table. But something didn't seem right. I got out of the pool and my wife asked where I was going. I told her I needed to take a pee. So I go to the bathroom and go.
I left and went back outside. I sat in the patio chair. Then, Ash didn't make the throw. So both of them jump in to get it. Then the worst thing happened. Out of no-where, a lightning bolt struck the pool. I jumped out of the chair and screamed. My wife layed there. My two kids sank to the bottom of the pool. I ran to the house to call 911, but the scene changed.
I was now in my bed. The lights were off. I looked at my wife. She was sound asleep. I got up and walked to the kids room for some reason. I walked in. Their TV was on Lonney Toons. They were sound asleep too. I wen over to turn the TV off. And as I did, there was a scream in my room. The kids woke up immidiatly and we ran to her rescue. We entered the room, and she was laying on the bed, neck slitted. My knees buckled up and fell to the ground. Then, It was over.

I woke up by the sound of the captian.
"Hello, this is your captain speaking. We will be expecting a slight late arrival due to unreported weather. This delay will only last about 30 minutes. So sit back and..." BOOM!!!!!!!!!!! A bolt of lightning struck the plane.

Chapter 2

The shock knocked me out. I knew I was alive. I was still breathing and I heard the screams of the other passengers. But everything was black. I couldn't see. I couldn't move or anything. My hearing started to drift off in the abyss. But I wasn't dead. Then, a man appeared in front of me. I felt dead, but then, I could move and speak. Then the man spoke.
"You," he said. "are the one. You must save these lands." And with the swipe of his hand, I was back in reality. The passengers were all still screaming. I sat up and buckled my seatbelt and prepared for impact. We went down............ and SPLASSSSSSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We hit the ocean. Everyone flew forward. Some cracked their necks and died. But some were straped in. They hit their heads and were either dead or unconcious. I was one of the only who survived without being hurt. I left without a scratch. Luckily, some fisher took a canoe out into the ocean for some reason. He flew out of his canoe like a bird falling out of a tree. I had to swim out to it.
I got on to the little canoe. I found some stuff that would certainly help. Their was a cooler with food and some soda. PLus, a copper knife. So with a few miles to go, I paddled.

I docked at a port. Not very convinient. There was a veggie stand and a man. He looked poor and was waving his hand at me. I didn't know what he wanted, but I decided to give him a shot, as long as he didn't try and kill me.
"You there," he spoke. "soldier!" He pointed at me. I guess you could confuse me for a soldier because I was holding the knife I found i the canoe. "If you come looking for peace and harmony, your won't find it here in Helos." I looked around and didn't seem anything. "You must leave if you want to survive." I was confused and asked what he was talking about. He shock his head and told me something I didn't believe. Even if Greek mythology was real, I technically didn't want to believe it. So I started to the canoe. But something pushed me back. I looked around, But there was nothing there. I tried to continue, but the force wouldn't let me move forward. So I moved towards Helos. The force didn't push me back. Then, I ran. To the canoe. Thats when I felt like a lightning bolt really hit me. I fell to the ground and was knocked out. But the man in my visio was back.
"You," he spoke. " can't leave. The gods depend on your bravery." And again, he swiped his hand and I was back into reality. So I headed to this "Helos". The man was yelling at me saying it was a suicide mission. But this was my instincts taking over. I couldn't control myself. And a man ran out of a field. And, as hard to believe as it is to see, the crazy man was right. The myths have been brought to life. I was in the face of satyrs!

An interesting blend of Titan Quest and elements from the TV Series LOST, very clever. Some very disturbing visions indeed. As much as I like Titan Quest, I can't say I'd like to wake up inside the game, yikes.

Yeah I don't have 50 strength, so I'd not want to do that either. Maybe if I could throw fire, I'd manage as a caster. But that's reliant on myths pulling through. Plus I'd have to constantly work on my intelligence, and I'm too lazy for that. Maybe I could Defile and start with 50 str, 700 int, and 300 dex, and hope i survive the rest without too much effort?
Good write, I'm subscribed

That's great. To be honest, I don't watch Lost much. Next chapter:

Chapter 3

So now I'm stuck with this tale of a thousand miles as my vision also told me now that I remember some of it. Besides, mybe this "quest" I'm on may bring me to fame and riches. Oh well. So, I'm facing into a field with a horse in it. Only this horse is being attacked by a boar and two half-goat, half-men, also known as satyrs. They didn't seem to be bothered by me. Then this happened:
A man ran out of the fields and cried "You must have been sent by the gods! Please, in the field here, their gonna kill my horse!" Thats when I heard this voice inside of me say Things may never seem the same after I do this. Then, my instincs kicked in, manuvering the knife in my hand to the first satyr I could make contact to. The knife slited the furry fiends neck like opening a letter with a letter opener. It fell to the ground and I felt great. Then I blacked out for a while. Then, when I awoke, the other two monsters were dead. It was like a heart beat. Whoosh! Never felt so alive. The man ran up to me and said:
"You saved my horse. Thank you, but I'm not the only one in trouble. Down the road here is my village, Helos." Then I looked back past the rock barrier. Sure enough, there were some satyrs fighting with a few people. About 3 people and 6 satyrs. Personally, This was a bit disturbing. Guts everywhere, blood, etc. But, the guards didn't seem to be harmed. Well, they werte weilding sheilds as the beastmen weren't wielding anything. So I ran out to help. I jumped over the rocks and charged. I stabbed a satyr in the heart, but it just swung a punch and I dodged it. I swung again, and it's horn was chipped. Then, I did an upper-cut move, and the monsterous foe fell to the ground. By the time I was finished, the guards had taken down the rest of the beastmen. When I walked past them, I could literally feel their eyes staring at me.
Then, I saw a man in these white linen robes. I could tell somehow he was the leader. and sure enough, he said this "Hello stranger. I am Diomedes, the leader of this small village. You say you fought your way here?" I looked at him and he shutted up. I looked around and saw it was pretty small. There were small huts around which indicated there wasn't very may people there. There wasn't much for entertainment exept for some strange huming and the strings of the harp-looking-thingy. What was it called. Ah never mind. So Diomedes showed me around the village and also showed me the merchant. He was standing polishing something. I didn't know what, but it looked like a wood-cutting axe. Diomedes called his name and the guy flinched.
"What, I didn't do that!" he cried. "Oh, sorry chief. Been kind of slow goin round here. Who's the new guy?" Diomedes just told him to get something bronze. The merchant (whose name I do not remember) looked around andd went "Aha!" and pulled out a bronze spear. He placed it on the table. Diomedes grabbed it and said "Anyone who walks into this village will be a guard. Now, we need your help. Do you think you can do it?" I nodded and out of nowhere, someone screamed "There back!" Diomedes handed me the spear and yelled "Get to the bridge, We cannot let these satyrs let our guard down!" And with that, I was heading to the bridge.

Chapter 4

So, this bridge this "Diomedes" guy says is ancient. Have fun with that. Now, the key component to fighting is, not to do it. But, my instincts kicked in and I was charging a satyr in a matter of minutes. I struck it in the head and it collasped immidiatly on impact with te crudeness of the spear I was weilding. Then, an arrow came from nowhere. I was able to deflect it off the spear, and thats when I realized there was a schrimish satyr. I charged, able to dodge another arrow. Then, I was on fire. Thats when I realized that, I'd been hit ith a torch. I killed the bow-weildig-satyr and jumperd off the bridge into the cool refreshing water. I swam back to shore, and a satyr fell into the water, blood dripping.
By the time I got on to land, I was soaked. I walked back into the village to speak with Diomedes. Then, when he saw me, he said "I thought you died! Thank the gods you didn't. Speaking of, we need you to take a drink of that fountain over there." he pointed to a stone fountain the size of a normal human being. I took a drink, and I felt rejuvinated (healthy). I walked to Diomedes, and he told me he had a quest for me. "Now young hero, I think you can deal us a great deal for a simple request. TRhese satyrs have been lead by a powerful shaman. He has summoned these satyrs to attack us. Please, if you help us, the village will be eternally thankful. Do you accept?" I thought of it. Fame, riches. Ah, what the heck. I nodded yes and he gave me a red bottle. He told me it would rejuvinate me just as the fountain. He also said that I could buy some from the shop. So with a few final words, I was out.

The farmlands were a wreck. The farmhouses were burning. Satyrs and boars were roaming the wide area of grass and hay. So, with my spear and bravery, I started to the shaman. There were a few monsters around, but they weren't that threatening. I took them all down quite quickly. I wasn't feeling very well after that. I drank the water in the bottle, and I felt a lot better. So I went into this field and killed a boar, but I heard a ding and I blacked out. Then, I saw 9 words: Storm, Earth, Warfare, Spirit, Dream, Rogue, Hunting, Nature and Defence. I didn't know what they meant for a while. Then I heard a voice say Pick one. I did. Rogue didn't seem too bad, but then, Dream seemed fun. So I chose Dream. A screen came up and I was feeling stronger. Then, the voice was back. You have 3 skill points. Use them wisely. I chose something called Psionic Touch. Then, it was over. I was back in the field. There was nothing around. I knew, what happened.

Chapter 5

Now, I lied. I didn't know what happened. A voice tells me to do something and I cannot control myself. I mean, what is "Psionic Touch"? Well, I guess this is what it was. I traveled past the stone walls leading out of the farmlands and into the sacred woods Diomedes told me about. More grass than trees that I can tell you. There was a chest. No lock so it was easy to open. Inside were 3 of the red bottle stuff. I poured them all into one bottle. But, I guess that was a mistake. An arrow came from nowhere and whizzed by my nose. I felt it brush on me and my head spun. A schrimish and two scout satyrs were standing about 10 feet away.
I charged them and struk the scrimish and it fell. The two others swung their weapons and I managed to dodge both attacks. I swung twice at one satyr and this happened. I felt a very strong surge fuel me and I struck. The satyr flew like a throwing ball hit by a bat. I didn't know what happened, but it was amazing. I finished everything in the area and walked past a creepy looking poll. I walked past and towards a satyr. But, it ran. Along with 3 other satyrs. I charged them and saw what I guess was a satyr shaman. I hid behind a boulder and prepared to attack. But, he saw me and I guess ordered the other, oh, 6 satyrs. Then charged with amazing speed. I did the same and did it again to the 4th satyr I made contact with. The rest were quite easy. I charged the shaman and he summoned a fireball.

This is what happened after that. Burn. Pain. Dead? No. I wasn't dead. I was hit, but not dead. I pulled out the bottle and drank some of it. Then, I attacked again. I used all my will strength and struck. Either the Psionic Touch was used or I was stronger. He fell. I didn't know if dead, so I struck my spear in his eye. Yep, hes dead. I walked back to the village and told Diomedes of my great victory.
"You killed that vicious beast? Astounding!" I asked about my prize and he gave it to me, 1000 gold. So, I asked where to go from there. He said the southern part of the village had an exit. So, I sprinted towads it.

I love it, this gives a first person view of the game, instead the the birds eye view that makes you feel like you are a spectator.

Chapter 7 Part 1

As I was walking, I had the feeling everyone was staring at me. I saw one woman peeking out of her house. A man stood behind a drying rack and pretended to not see me. And then, a man spoke. I was walking past the stone barrier when a man called out to me saying "Hey! You, with the spear." I turned and it was a man with a tall staff near a strange shrine. He ran up to me and greeted me.
"Your the one who slayed the shaman! I have a great object to help you thru your journey." He pulls out a strage looking stone out of his pocket and gives it to me. "This, is a shrine stone. You throw it on the ground and it should shiver up and into a portal. You step in and imagine the place you want to go. Close your eyes, and you might feel a small pinch. When you open up, where ever you imagined, you'll be there. But, you can only use it on these..." he pointed to the strange shrine.
"Um, thank you, I guess." I said. "No, you don't guess. You do." He replied. I turned around to the stone barrier. I looked back, and the man was gone. So, I continued on.

Chapter 7 Part 2

I couldn't explain what happened. I passed the barriers and saw a few satyrs charging the village so I went after them. Lunge, dodge, strike, dodge again, spin, strike again, dead satyrs. A man ran for the village and was yelling "HELP! HELP!" I went over to talk to him. "What happened?" I asked. He was shooken up but was able to speak. "We were leading our flocks home, when a pack of satyrs attacked." he explained. "Who was with you?" "My friend, Tellis. This is not happenning!" I felt a tug on my thigh and I fainted. But I wasn't dead. I had another vision. It was like the other visions.
I saw another person, but this one was female. "Zeus is right." she said. "Who are you?" I ask. She waved her hand and my mouth was sealed. "Hush, mortal. I am, the Hera. The only Hera." If my eyes were playing tricks on me, I would have tried to hurt myself. I couldn't move. "Don't fool yourself, mortal. I am a meer vision. I am real, just not with you. It's hard to explain, even for a god. Go now, brace yourself for the wildest adventure of your life." and with the swipe of her hand, I was awake.
