What does Toxeus drop in the Secret Passage?

Whenever I kill Toxeus in the Secret Passage I always hear a clank sound typical of the sound of a ring dropping. However, I never see anything on the ground and just move along. I guess I always thought it was like "ding-dong, the witch is dead - the wicked witch is dead!"

Until tonight. I just found two yellow items next to his dead, rotting corpse. I've never seen any drops in the SP besides the Majestic Chest. Everything monsters drop just disintegrate immediately.

So, what is the sound for when Toxeus dies?
Has anyone ever seen a drop in the SP before?

It's the sound of equipment dropping but, as you say, it disintegrates. The monsters seem to get a random range of equipment that affects their attacks but doesn't drop. For example, I've been stunned by David the Centaur even though he doesn't have any stunning attacks, so obviously he had a bow with stunning affix on it for that run. I've never had Toxeus drop anything before but I have had Hades drop a yellow ring. Which also had +energy on it iirc. I'm not sure why junk yellow rings will drop rarely but no other items will.

I think it's a no drop flag. They actually do have loot, and probably powerful loot, but they can't drop it. Which kind of sucks, as the whole enemies use what they have thing was very innovative at the time.

IDK. I mean, the only items you ever get are the stuff in the majestic chest at the end of the hall.

Well, he drops that more often than any items for sure!!

Cerberus can also drop a ring very rarily. I had it about a week ago: he dropped a ring which granted 5 strength or something alike. And even altough I never had it before it was kinda dissapointing it wasn't a green ring or at least a ring which required level 43 or higher.

CeeBiF, nice one :) But we'll see about that in a while as my corsair comes after Toxeus.
