Jade Empire follows the style within a mythical setting inspired by ancient China. The player, who can be either male or female, progresses through an adventure based on traditional martial arts and can discover and develop new fighting styles, martial arts, weapon styles, magic styles, support styles or transformation styles. Combat is not turn-based, but is in real time, granting players control over how and when characters dodge or attack. In this fashion the player may change styles during combat.

Each battle in Jade Empire has the potential to be a well-choreographed dance of death. There are many reasons why the battles work so well, the first of which is a brilliant combat system that is both approachable and incredibly deep. Players are eased into the setup with some sparring matches at the beginning of the game with a basic fighting style. For every style there is a quick assault, a powerful charged attack, an area blast, and a block button.

I wont spoil story but its BioWare so you know what to expect
This game deliver you such storyline that you just cant be evil
you feel guilty in real life

But if you think any game can offer you to be evil well this game is only one that offer that in true way
Forget the Kotor or some other serial where killing a man is evil

trust me, you've never seen evil taken to this level before
Tell me one game where you can bind the souls of those who love you just so you can use them forever as servants and they cant do a thing about it
It isnt much but after you have a romance with one of characters and you bind him
well you feel guilty
then to control spirits of dead and use them for your own purpose
kill a god and change water to blood
and kill nature itself helping corruption and evil to control

I couldnt do that
most of people on forums say now I am gonna play path of the closed fist but you just cant
few have done that

Did I mention great soundtracks

These were really great information posted by you, Jade Empire was a video game that pays homage to amazing martial arts and Chinese folklore, well I think that it is based on a combination of classic Wuxia-kung fu films and Chinese mythology.

Seriously, if you are an RPG fan and have not played Jade Empires, you should be ashamed of yourself and go buy it right now!

This is a excellent game with a great many options of how the game's story flows and how it ends for good or evil. I wish companys would make more RPG games in this era, the mthyology and kung-fu are great.
