I just realized that the 50% defensive bonus for woodlore is literally applied to DA because I had equipped 3 items of the Santa set found in Epic sp and my DA went up to 1700 which is nearly what my Conqueror has. So right now, in Act 2 I'm plowing through bowing at point blank range because few mobs can actually hit me. Distort Reality and then blast them all. This on top of monster lure (unbelievable) and scatter shot is just making it a bit boring.
I know Act 3-4 will get harder and bosses take some work but right now I'm actually using ML and not killing all enemies but just checking their loot.
So should I just pretend that this set doesn't exist? I don't actually have any cool hunting garb and I'm dex based so can't use most armor. I have the Epic Hunter's and a Gorgon Sash, that's about all I can use.
