I've gotten one of my stories published and it's finally out.

This is part 1 of the story. The story is:
- Action-packed (there is action in every chapter)
- Got lots of characters
- A fantasy adventure largely inspired by mythology
- Has little filler text and is relatively fast-paced
- Other main inspirations include: Adventures of Sinbad (TV show), Titan Quest (of course!), ESIV: Oblivion (game) and Conan the Barbarian (movie).
It's available for purchase on Authorhouse.com already - http://www.authorhouse.com/bookstore/ItemDetail.aspx?bookid=72070
...and very soon it'll be available on retail channels too, such as Amazon.
On the above link you can read a brief synopsis too.
Oh and also join the facebook page. It's called 'The Spellbound One'.

awesome. i read the free preview, and it seems like your writing style is geared towards the young readers side. like goosebumps or harry potter. its not my thing, but if i had a young cousin who was into fantasy, i would buy them a copy in a second.

Thanks guys.
Yeah, I am not a fan of long overdrawn descriptions. I like to keep the language simple, although interesting and climatic. I think the main audience would be teenagers, but I think anyone who is not a big fan of reading could enjoy it, because the main thing that always put me off reading was too much description. I find it's usually quite hard for me to find a story where I can properly get into it. I need it to be fast-paced, or else I lose interest quickly.

How many pages is it? If it's under 300 pages, I'll pick up a copy for my brother and myself, if it's more I'll just get it for me. :)

It's around 250 pages. That includes bonus features too, which consist of character profiles/backgrounds and a map of the country the story takes place in.

Hehe. Yeah, I thought I'd give a bit of insight on some of the background of all the major and minor characters. In latter books I'll be including some of the fantasy concepts of the story in the bonus features, such as how the Underworld works, and also some history on the countries in the story, etc.

Thankies. The moment I get enough money from the first book, I'll publish the second one. I started writing this story last year, so I'm already starting a fifth part, and I am getting ideas for more already. :D
