If you are having troubles with the Underlord 1.2 installer make sure you have the fanpatch 1.17a installed first. Also, any mods that change the core database.arz file will prevent the Underlord installer from detecting the proper version (i.e. the camera mod).
Sometimes the installer will incorrectly detect a backup of the database.arz file. In this case, zip up your backup, or rename it.
If all else fails, a full reinstall of the game should do the trick to make sure you get out any mods you might have forgotten about.
