FABLE:TLC - anyone playing repeatedly??

Hi there,

bit "oldie"(like my present PC:neutral:) but great game with great story and jokes, and because its mising pure rpg aspects, and fable2 is probably not going to PC, ANY IDEAs, new stuff, hidden loot, why play first fable again??

Oh How I love that game
Its true well fable,**** Its one of the few true RPGs.
It have all elements of good RPG
and Its classical good vs evil

Right now I am playing as good mage
using fireball,enflame,slow time,heal and Pschical shield

I am trying to open all demon doors and i will soon finish Arena quest card
and I am thinking to start a familiy,you know find some nice girl,flirt,marry and buy a house

i thought fable was great on xbox, but about a year ago i picked up the lost chapters for pc. and this is just personal opinion, but the pc controls just ruined the game for me. fable works much better with a controller, and unfortunately the pc version has no controller support. i hated the setup so much that i didnt even get far enough to experience the new content.

Fable? Was funny. I remember that my hero slept with that granny slut over and over again just to open that god**** door... and the granny was the cheapest/fastest solution. :lol:

The additional story content in TLC was pretty cool as well, but it had major fails:

- Jack of Blades, one of the most badass named adversaries in gaming history, strikes again... turning from "awesome" to "cliche". ./

- After the regular storyline, your char is usually more than finished skill-wise, and all end game chars look the same- all skills maxxed.

-The best weapon, iirc correctly, can be bought at a shop, and the merchant system, while awesome in theory, can be exploited easily.

-New and old content are not merged well; for example, there are new sets of tattoos that can be found only in the new village; I'd prefer it if could wear them all game long... not vital, yet annoying for me.

However, that game has lots of epic epicness to offer. My cousin, who is a freak, had fun slaughtering entire villages and buying every single house. :D Awwww, that's sooooo cool.

I did all this when I first played the game-40hrs and you have all weapons, houses in all towns, 6wifes;), your char is at max and theres nothing more to do :mad:.. no farming, no leveling, no next difficulty..
didnt play xbox version, but pc controls looks pretty allright to me.
best moment when man ask me to use some ridiculous barber cards because of his nice daughter who wants to marry.... ;)

I never played the XBOX version, but Fable TLC was an awesome game. A bit buggy, with the ability to corrupt all your savegames.

I had no problem with the controls. The last part (the lost chapters) did seem to be slapped on.. oh well.

It crashed repeatedly and the save system blew orc *****

Never had that problem with the PC version. Though I gotta admit, the save system was pretty buggy.
