to create a huge, seamless map? Not in the sense of the TQ single player campaign, which is undeniably seamless, but I mean a world that isn't really linear, that isn't just a seamless sequence of town to chokepoint to open area to chokepoint to next open area. Not that I have any problem with that, I love TQ, but I would love to see a world map like Sacred's (not that sacred was any good, because it certainly wasn't). Or, I'm not sure if anyone played Dungeon Siege back in the day (the first one), but they released a standalone multiplayer campaign called Yesterhaven that was very open ended and nonlinear (in comparison to the original campaign) which is more of what i'm gunning for.
Yep. This is possible, and something i'm going to be working on.

very interesting, I still want to get threw the game first before really starting any modding but it's interesting to see what kind of mods poeple come out with and how much they differ from the very linear way it is in TQ. Of course I like the way TQ is too, just can't wait to see some really good modders put some nice stuff out as well.

You could create even a neverending world I believe. Just create a huge seamless world and add teleporters at the "end" so you are teleported to a new area. ;) Then you are never reaching the end. :P
