Twinking: Highest DPS lvl 3?

Hi Im wondering if anyone else like to twink low level chars?

What are the best levels to do this? 3 and 8?

Im wondering if anyone would be interested in a small simple challenge of highest DPS on a lvl 3 char. And also a level 8 char. Or if other levels are more relevent what would they be? I choose 3 and 8 because ive seen alot of items start to get going at level 3 and level 8 is when you can slap three points in a second tree.

Twinking on low level characters is a waste imo. At level 10, when most of the epic sets is easier and more efficient. For earlier levels however, just grab a bunch of nice relics and stick 'em on your character. For best effects, go with a Relic of Zeus, it seems to reward the highest DPS.

Im not sure how its a 'waste'. What are you wasting exactly? We all already have high level character to slap our farmed gear on.

What Im wondering is if we can come up with some sort of low level challenge. We'd need to somehow turn off experience, and come up with a agreed on maximum level and see how far people can get.

Also what would be allowed.

Any help with the challenge structure would be fun.

The only twink I do with low lvls is sending over my snowball (or *, a staff with insane dmg and no requirements) and + movespeed gear. 100% movespeed is way to slow imo :)

About the low level challenge: turning off monster exp should be fairly easy, just delete the exp formula from the database (or if that doesn't work, change it to something that always returns 0). Fairly easy to implement in an xmax style mod (start a custom map, play the regular game with changes). Quest experience may prove a little more tricky however. I don't even know how that's handled.

About twinking low level chars: if you're twinking lots of stuff you might was well just edit the char to start in legendary at an appropriate level. Playing overtwinked chars through normal and epic is a complete waste of time. I should know, I've done it.
