On my 1st play through, currently level 19. Was wondering if when you complete the game on normal and start again on a higher difficulty - do you keep your same level like Sacred 2? I assume you don't start again at level 1 right? Just asking because I may not need to save a lot of gear if we keep our levels.

LOL, no you don't go to level 1. You keep your level.

OK, heh. Sorry for the dumb question - I appreciate the answer though, I can start dumping my newbie gear without worrying about it now.

The only minor drawback is that when you start a new character, you'll have to start from Normal and to unlock each difficulty again.

But what if you use defiler to copy a char that is already finished with normal, and then change his masteries to be that of the new character? I assume then you could continue with the higher difficulty?

Well yeah, but that'd be cheating!

If you cheat, you will become a homosexual.. And only ever mate with obese men..
Maybe think twice..?

Wait - I thought it caused blindness? Is it both?

I always wander.. . There are so many different opinions..
In this case, i think the blindness is more of a metaphor.. One becomes blind to the undenyingly depressing fact that you are indeed male fatty smacker..?

Hmm. You think about this a lot don't you?

Save any GOOD gear.
You will want to try out another kind of character (mage, archer, dual-sword, rogue, etc...) and if you find any good stuff on your noob you can twink to your newer noob.
I recommend loading the TQ Vault program. It makes it easy to store your items and transferr to other characters..

I got TQ Vault and it rocks. I have a vault for greens, blues and other good stuff. Now I feel like a pack rat, lol. Good suggestion though. I love the TQ Vault and Defiler apps for this game - they add a lot.

SoulSeekor will be pleased to hear that. :D
I'm having a hard time not using Defiler on a few chars just to test the power of diff masteries, so far I've been able to control myself. TQvault is the **** tho, I used to have like 5 mules at one point lol.

I think a person has to be very masachistic to use mules and stray off TQVault. It just makes life so much easier when storing and transferring items (and that's not cheating at all).
