I apologize if there's a good thread on this already, a bit of a forum/game noob.

What are the good/must have patches for TQ atm?

I understand that the user creater content for this game is pretty vast and I'd like to dig into some of it:rockon:

Well, the official patches are of course recommended as well as the Bugfix Fanpatch (http://www.titanquest.net/forums/bugfix-fanpatch/30510-rel-bugfix-patch-1-17-a.html). Other than that, the Uber Mod (http://www.titanquest.net/forums/modifications-editor/26975-release-uber-mod-1-0-a.html) and XmaX (http://www.titanquest.net/forums/modifications-editor/13688-rel-x2-x3-x4-xmax-monsters-1-1-a.html)are popular and I suggest you download and install the TQVault (http://www.titanquest.net/forums/tools/31114-rel-tqvault-2-21-beta.html)as well.

I downloaded the bugfix patch and somehow I have 300k gold missing.....:confused:

Didn't they tell you that is the cost for using the patch? Every downloader must pay a virtual fee of 300k gold to keep these forums running.... I'm surprised more people aren't complaining....

Seriously I don't think the fanpatch does anything to existing characters, their inventories, stats, etc...
