I dont know if its been adressed but here I go.When you kill a monster and something Rare drops then some random person comes and steals your drop (This pissed me off alot in D2).I hope they have something that prevents this.

I really dont think so, but...
In D2 you really didn't knew that kind of itens would be dropped at all (by anyone). Kind of a blinded magicfind. In TQ, at least, you can see for example a super cool armor on an monster, and if you need more this than the super cool sword on the other monster, just aim to kill/getcloser to the chosen one.
But in a party with 6 guys destroying everything in their way lots of items will drop at the same time, and as other HnS games: the faster - the happier. :p

You can blame the hackers for not getting your items as they used pickit hack in D2 to get all the loot drops faster then you could mouse click. the only advise i can give is play with friends as they will be more then happy to share. Also if your friends are using a hack to get the items faster then you then they are not really your friends. ;)
And no i do not want to see any loot boxes or need or greed rolls or dice of any kind for that matter or bind on pickup items and have seen my fare share of that bs in the past. World of warcraft was an utter failure in my eyes as i spent more time arguing over stuff then saying the words better luck next time and i even made plenty of enemies over the loot drops as making a simple mistake when some guy loots during combat and you have to think roll for need or greed and you are warior then roll need on a cloth item then omg its bind on pickup hehe yeah it always gets worse as you cant even give it away to the guy that needed it, so next thing you no your both mouthing off at each other with cuss words and the group breaks up with everyone pissed off.
Loot boxes are no fun and the best i can say to you is good luck if your that slow to pick items off the ground but if you play with legit players you have a 50% chance to get the items, same chance the rest of us have.
Sorry im being so hard on this post but thats one of the main reasons im not playing warcraft right now as im just sick of it.
Big hugs,

It does add a interesting aspect to the game one moment you are fighting together with your allies in co-op the next moment you are competitors for a piece of unique armour that has dropped.

That would leave support characters out in the cold, though. WoW's system of rolling is not a bad design, but probably hard to do in a game like TQ where so much is controlled by the client (there is no neutral server that handles loot distribution, so there is potential for cheating). The easiest solution, and probably the only one, is to play with friends and people whom you trust.

How does the Roll syestem work in WOW?I'm not sure what Rolling is : /
In WoW, everyone in the party/group can either choose "need" or "greed" when a good item drops. If multiple people choose "need", they "roll" a virtual 100-sided die. The person with the highest number wins the item. If nobody picks "need", the people who selected "greed" get to roll for the item ("need" usually means someone will wear the item, "greed" usually means it'll be sold or will go to a secondary character). WoW has a number of loot systems (like lootmaster, where one player assigns items), but the "roll"-system is the most common in small parties (in raid groups with 40 people it's rarely used).
The greed/need/roll options pop up automatically as soon as a corpse is opened (items stay on the corpse, they don't drop to the ground), so it's not possible to grab it before everyone has rolled on it.

A roll system basically works like this: When a non common item is picked up by anyone in your party a image of it is shown. Then those who are interested in the item could type /roll 1-100 (or whatever numbers they wanted to roll) and the person with the highest number would win the item. In World of Warcraft, a "dice" icon was presented next to the item that was looted. Everyone who wanted that item would merely 'click' on that dice and the person who rolled the highest number would find that item in their backpack.

even though there would be no such feature in TQ, I don't think it would be a bad way to implement the possibility to use use /roll. If you're playing with someone, and one finds an ûberitem and you can't descide who should get it (requires the original looter not to be greedy bastard), /roll could be an option to settle those...
