View Full Version : What i've been working on

It isn't much, but i've had fun....i'll try to improve textures, develop a story and see what i end up with. I've been having HUGE troubles getting this ingame however.

All of my textures are just there for the sake of not having sand everywhere...i am still trying to get something decent looking.

Some farmland just outside the village

Small village with both a mage and regular merchant- a little choppy i know but i'll see if i can't smooth out the market stalls and such.

Bridge by the docks that will lead the player to a fairly decently sized forest with a murky river and some interesting surprises.

The governer's villa by the village and farmland

Yes its not much, but like i said, it's fun.

Well it looks quite nice, especially the first pic! Though I think you can pay a little more attention to the details, as they are quite few :).

Looks good. Can't wait for people to release full fledged adventures.

Heh, i finished on the forest layout and base textures- gotta put monsters in everywhere though- shame ever since i changed the name the map keeps crashing ingame, oh well, it's coming along fine in editor. I'll post pictures whenever it's feasible.

Edit- pictures below.

Woodcutting camp in the deep part of the forest- will most likely be involved in the first quests.

Bridge that leads over the murky river in the center of the forest

Edge of the forest leading to village.

Looks good, but can you make the lines a bit more jagged, like the river and grass and such, all looks to "perfect", almost strait lines everywhere. Just a tip.

It's crashing in-game because you are using an old object that's not properly handled by the game anymore. The object is "records\creature\npc\greece\e3\herdsheepherder.dbr". This is from our E3 demo from two years ago :P
