It works with everything.

It also has a 50% chance to be spelled volatility by me. Like just then! Volavity. See, 50%.

i would just like to put that even though its only 5% chance of happening its still very good and should not be over looked, hang on let me rephrase that... must not be over looked :D

Actually I think it's a 33% chance to trigger now. The first point spent here is essential as j1mm says.

Subsequent points however...well, they give you 12% extra damage when the skill triggers, which is one time out of three. Earth enchantment, on the other hand, gives you 8% per point constantly. Sure it requires an energy reserve, but on average, that's twice as much benefit, and earth enchantment can help your friends out, too.

So I say learn volatility as early as needed for your build...but don't pump it until you've got earth enchantment well and truly tricked out.

i was pretty certain that it maxed at maybe 15% to trigger, but i dont know :knockout:

Edit: Yes, it seems to be a 33% to proc at all levels, or at least the low levels. I'm not sure my claim it gives 12% per extra point was right though...level 2 is 33% chance for +83% fire damage, while level 3 is 33% chance for +92%.
