My Druid is level 40 right now and I'm heading toward the Yellow Emperor's mountain. Epic difficulty has been very hard so far. Almost any boss can one-shot me, and if more than one or two normal monsters get within melee range I can easily die. Archers are death.
Has anyone beat Epic with a Druid? Can you please post your build and gear? I don't think this character will be able to kill the Cyclopes (I had to look up the plural for this word in a dictionary:happy:) let alone the Titan.

While it wont help much with the bosses, a maxed out Squall is a godsend against all the archers in Epic. So I would re-spec for that skill if you dont have it yet or havent invested many points into it.
I had a Druid make it to Legendary and found it just wasnt working because the only real upside of Nature is Heart of Oak fully mod'd. The pets are a decent distraction but in Legendary its really not much of a real bonus.
I rerolled Oracle (Spirit/Storm) and now I am a lot happier with a better pet, a great pet for bosses and a skill that surpasses ice shards.
The sky is the limit now, and I am loving every moment of it. In my opinion Oracle >>> Druid and if you feel its worth it just reroll. I think my Druid is pretty nice but Heart of Oak just doesnt touch Ternion.

I don't know, but it seems that Ternion is better than just about anythimg else in the game. So, either all other skills are underpowered, or Ternion is vastly overpowered and subject to nerfing. I don't know if I'd build a character around it.
I don't see them nerfing Ternion unless they are going to let you switch Masteries personally. I have played around and I tell you that some skills are underpowered and some combo's and Masteries. Ternion is probably overpowered but you know what, you have to really buff it with complementary skills to make it that way.
Ternion by itself is probably balanced just fine but how many people leave it at that? How many Storm users just buy Ice Shards and not Storm Nimbus/Wisp (Eye of Storm).

I considered making a druid...I'd think that between Squall, Briar Ward, and Spell Shock you ought to be able to rip everything up with magical attacks from relative safety.
Has anyone tested briar ward yet? How's it do as an anti-melee defense?

I've totally overlooked Spell Shock. What does it do?

Upgraded spell shock removes beneficial magic from enemies, and harmful magic on friends. If you zap an enemy who has energy with it, he loses a portion of his energy, takes damage based on how much he lost, and gets a fairly reasonable period of skill disruption.
