View Full Version : New 4max, and xmax problem

Hi guys,

Not sure if maybe im just doing something wrong but when I launch the new 3max, 4max, or xmax mods from the official site they all seem to do the same thing.

So far I have tested with the Telkine at the end of Act1 Normal and in every case there is always 3 never 4 or more. Not sure if this is a bug but figured this was the most appropriate place for this.

While the 4max and Xmax mods will increase the number of regular mobs beyond three, you cannot have more than 3 heroes or bosses. Its working correctly.

For any max mode all bosses are at 3x so even if you have 2max your have 3 Telkines. The easy way to check that you got the right one (that you haven't renamed it) is to start a new character and go to the horse field and count the boars.

I have a problem with all of the xmods.

I have done everything I have been told to do but when I clikc start on Custom Quest it actually starts a custom quest in the TQ map.

I have no idea what I've done wrong.

Is your question for the masteries mod or normal TQ...?

I have a problem with all of the xmods.

I have done everything I have been told to do but when I clikc start on Custom Quest it actually starts a custom quest in the TQ map.

I have no idea what I've done wrong.

Once you click on your character in custom quest, with xmax etc
it will send you to normal TQ. Then select your char that you want to
play with on xmax and start it.

I dont know why it works like this but thats how you get it to work =)

Well - the only thing I can come up with is that you have selected another custom quest instead of xMAX on the custom quest part...

The reason is he got a double folder in custom maps IE instead of it being
My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\custommaps\mapname
Hes got this:
My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\custommaps\something\mapname

Don't really matter as it to do with mods and that the same thing really. Anyway I told you how to fix the problem in my post above. The same thing happened to me with masteries when i use extract here instead of extract to.

Well I don't have that problem. I suck at all things to do with computers so it'll be something else. I'm not super bothered so I'll leave it

Did anyone get this result? -- On 3Max, there was no Minotaur Lord before the first Telkine, so the Quest-protected door wouldn't open.

Yup, I had this issue, or similar one with few more bosses...not Masteries-made issue though. ;)

Know max issue some bosses dont spawn right at times, reload game up it might fix it or you can go to normal masteries/TQ
