Is it me or do they have to worst drop rate than any other troop? I swear you're more likely to get a Turtle Shell from Typhon than 2 Albino Spider charms in five runs.

I think its pretty close between the albino spiders and the saber tooth lions for worst drop rate. Sometimes I can go through all of act three and never get a saber tooth charm.

Just got a completed Epic Albino Spider charm!

Brappa, go to the last fountain in Hades, and from there go to the right side of the main corridor. The first two areas are full of albino spiders. Then go back to the fountain and head the other way. You have to cross the chamber completely, and then the next chamber is full of albino spiders.

Then quit the game and keep repeating. I got an Epic Albino Spider charm about half the time.

Greetings, Gringos! The weather is pleasantly cool here in the Gringo Zone, and we're expecting a bunch of kids to show up at the Gringos' house on Halloween.

There's no good way to say it, Folks. Our church hit a snag. We had been running solidly in the teens, and we had an effective outreach on Saturday and Wednesday. But we lost 15 solid people five weeks, and the folks who
started the church quit. Meanwhile, we picked up 27 kids on Saturday for Christian cartoons. I've been in contact with the main church in Texas, and they have promised to send me training material for running a Life Group.

I've decided to put us in "survival mode." Nancy and I enjoy listening to our pastor's sermons, so I moved our service to Sunday afternoon. On Sunday morning, we go to a local church. Meanwhile, we have begun the process of forming a "Life Group" for our church down here. The church is in Texas and runs about 12,000 people on
Sunday. I'm not sure how it will work out, but the ministries we have are still doing well.

For those of you who have not been following the most important news in the world, my Phillies are in the World Series! They're ahead 3-1 in the best of seven series, and Wednesday night MIGHT be the end.

Our retired Gringos are coming out of their shell shock over the Stock Market decline. God hasn't abandoned any of us, and I keep assuring them that we will be all right.

Adios, Vicente

Yesterday was Anna's fourth birthday. We celebrated by letting her walk wherever she wanted to. She headed straight for the mountains, wallowed in pig water, and ran up and down the road naked.

Vince
11-12-2008, 12:23 PM
Greetings, Gringos! We hope that all of you are doing well. My tomato plants turned out to be cherry tomato plants (which is not what the picture on the package showed) but
we're harvesting tomatoes every day.

We had 18 children on Wednesday night, and the
singing went very well. It's becoming the hottest song in the Gringo Zone. They started with a really bad cartoon.
Then they cut out the stupid parts, leaving only a few scenes, which they play three times. They have the
words on the screen, and you "follow the bouncing ball" to sing along. The kids on Saturday morning were hollering all over the place. We had an uproar when we played it at
children's church on Wednesday night. At the orphanage, the kids kept running up and grabbing the TV set.
And now we're learning it for the Christmas pageant. Go to youtube.com and type in David y Goliat exactly
the way I have spelled it. If it tries to tell you it isn't available, keep clicking the refresh button.

Little Chapel is celebrating their 50th anniversary. After picking up 23 kids for Saturday's Christian cartoons, we went there for three hours of eating, fireworks, and a marachi band. It was worth it. There have been dozens of churches started here in the last twenty years, and few last
more than a few weeks. Nancy and I still watch our pastor on the internet every Sunday afternoon, but we've
started going to different churches in the morning. I am waiting for our church to finish a background check on us so they can send us some material.

There have been a lot of comforting sermons preached this week, assuring Americans that we are going to be all right. The late Jack Hyles pastored the largest church in the world, and every four years he preached the same sermon, "America Will Survive." He changed the names and
nothing else. I've gone through Presidential elections in which sincere people would say that this would be
America's last free election if their candidate lost; their candidate lost, and we still have free elections. A few years ago, Spain backed down in fear to terrorists and voted in a new government, but the United States voted without fear. At a giant rally in Chicago, Obama supporters enthusiastically waved American flags, and Obama is selecting staff members who are able to work with Republicans. This free election was a victory FOR the United States, not a victory OVER the United States. Accusations that Obama is a Muslim, a terrorist, or a socialist are still floating around the web, but all reputable news organizations have rejected those stories as false. America's strongest allies regard us as the defenders of world freedom, and they believe we made the right choice. We're going to be okay.

I've been following Windows 7, which Microsoft hopes to release before Christmas 2009. The pre-beta version is stable, requires less memory than Vista, and can run anything that Vista can run. Many people are running Vista with little problems, but it is the most rejected operating system that Microsoft has ever released. I stayed with Windows XP, even though I have always been one of the first people to try out a new system. Hopefully, things will get better.

Adios, Vicente

Anna is the most popular dog in the Gringo Zone. Everywhere I go, people walk up to pet her. The last survivor of a litter of puppies in a dry river bed, she was taken to the animal shelter where I volunteer. She had to learn to walk on a leash so someone would adopt her, I worked with her, romance followed, and now she is our beloved dog. She still has nightmares after three and a half years with us.

PorkLoin

JUSTICE

By TIM DAHLBERG, AP Sports Columnist
Nov 15, 2:35 pm EST

Michael Vick lives in a prison in Kansas, making 12 cents an hour while plotting his return to the NFL. His houses and farms will soon be gone, the two yachts are history, and he’s down to his last couple of Range Rovers.

A race horse he bought for $60,000 died of colic, the Atlanta Falcons are still trying to hit him up for millions they paid him, and the IRS and the state of Georgia want nearly $1 million in back taxes.

And the dogs who survived his dog-fighting business are living in comfort, because a judge made him pay to support them for the rest of their lives.

Until march this year I had a Pentium 3, with less than a half a gig of RAM. 40 gig hard drive. I did some checking up and found out that about a third of the computers parts were in fact older than me. I am not exaggerating. Shortly after that I got my new rig, which I am very happy with! Except that my dad just got a 1080p 22", which is a little higher res than mine (also a 22") But a lot higher than my 15". So it looks like I'm going to be out of money for a while.

The air units or just permanent jump abilities with weird dialogue.

The voice acting is stupid.

The lack of Tyranids is stupid.

I arrived at the animal shelter this morning to learn that Lucy, a large dog, had died during the night. She had appeared fine yesterday. In addition to everybody being upset, accusations were going back-and-forth (none at me), even though it was obvious that it was not anybody's fault.

I carried the body in a garbage bag over to the vet's for an autopsy, which freaked out one of the women, but that's what the owner said to do.

Vince
12-23-2008, 11:00 PM
No, the vet hadn't finished his autopsy yet. They suspected that someone had let her eat poison while walking her on Monday, but I don't think that poison would have taken over twelve hours to take effect.

With about fifteen dogs at a time average, we probably have about 200 different dogs per year. This is the second time that a dog was found dead in three and a half years. I think it was just illness.

FROM MISS ERIKA MUNA
ADDRESS/ AVE 11 RUE 45
ABIDJAN COTE D IVOIRE
Dearest One,
Base on your profile I am happy to request for your assistance and also to go into relationship with you, I believe that you will not betrayed my trust which I am going to lay on you.
I am MISS ERIKA MUNA, 19 years old and the only daughter of my late parents MR. and MRS MUNA. My father was a highly reputable business magnet-(a cocoa merchant) who operated in the capital of Ivory Coast during his days.
It is sad to say that he passed away mysteriously in France during one of his business trips abroad year 12th.Febuary 2003.Though his sudden death was linked or rather suspected to have been masterminded by an uncle of his who travelled with him at that time. But God knows the truth! My mother died when I was just 4 years old, and since then my father took me so special.
Before his death on February 12 2003 he called the secretary who accompanied him to the hospital and told him that he has the sum of Four Million United State Dollars. (USD$4 000 000 ) left in a Bank, it was deposited as family money personal for security reasons. I am just 19 years old and a university undergraduate and really don't know what to do.
This is because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of non-stop political crisis here in Ivory coast. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life. Please, I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards. Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded.
Now permit me to ask these few questions:-
1. Can I completely trust you?
2. What percentage of the total amount in question will be good for you?
Please I will like you consider this and get back to me as soon for more info.
Thanks and God bless you.
My sincere regards,
MISS ERIKA MUNA

1) You have not inherited a fortune from someone you don't know.
2) You have not won a contest that you did not enter.
3) You do not have to pay any money to collect a prize you have won.

I was in a dog-walking mood today, but everyone is under orders not to discuss what happened to Lucy. However:

The veterinarian who performed the autopsy says that she had been poisoned about forty minutes before she died. Now you know why there were so many accusations.

It could have been that a poisoned rat got into her cage and she ate it. It's possible that someone threw rat poison over the wall. Miguel, a faithful Mexican worker whom the dogs love, was the first one in, and he is suspected of poisoning her.

It is also possible that Miguel used a poisonous germicidal mix to clean her cage, and some got into her water bowl by accident. He might have put her back into her cage without rinsing it, and the dog licked it up. Everyone except me was avoiding Miguel; I've seen how much he loves the dogs, and if he killed one by accident, there's nothing we can do about it now.

Boombaye
12-26-2008, 06:01 PM
Poor, poor, Miguel.

I dinnae, he doesn't seem like someone who'd kill a dog.

Vince
12-26-2008, 06:35 PM
Nobody there seems like the kind of person who would kill a dog. The fact that everybody had been ordered to clamp down, the fact that everybody is still upset, and the fact that there were accusations going around, indicates that the cause of death was something we don't want the public to know about.

Vince

Back to Billy Mitchell (True story). An American major took a group of observation planes over the German lines. He got lost in the fog, and low on fuel, landed at a German airfield, where all the observation planes were captured intact.

A few days later, a German plane dropped a message for Mitchell. The message thanked him for the wonderful planes, and assured him that the Germans would put them to good use. The message then complained, however, that they couldn't figure out any use for the major.

Okay, solve this math problem:

Porkloin buys a hot new sports car to impress the women for $185,000.
His car payments are $4,756.31 per month.
His insurance payments are $2,358,29 every three months.
Gasoline costs him $74.83 per month.

Porkloin earns $60,000/year, from which Social Security deducts 7.5%. Federal income tax comes out to 8.4%, and state income tax comes out to 3.2%. He also has a monthly house payment of $985, and his minimum payments on his credit card is 32.75/month.

How many girls will Porkloin impress before they tow his car away?

In my never-ending thirst for knowledge, I bought an old book on helicopters, and became interested in autogiros. Contrary to popular belief, an autogiro is not a combination of a helicopter and an airplane. It is a helicopter with the lifting rotor unattacked to a motor. The forward propellar pulls the autogiro forward, and the rush of air spins the rotors which then provide lift. There are no wings.

Because balloons were too immobile, too easy to shoot down, and took too long to pull down in an emergency, various nations experimented with military autogiros. During the 1930s, the US purchased a small number, but they had been discarded before WW2 began.

During WW2, Germany experimented with an autogiro that was towed by a U-boat for survellaince.

The Japanese launched two-man autogiros from aircraft carriers, and actually built two small carriers that were designed only for autogiros. One model contained a depth charge and actually sank an Allied submarine.

And their greatest claim to fame. The first USEFUL helicopters were autogiros.

Contrary to popular belief, an autogiro is not a combination of a helicopter and an airplane. It is a helicopter with the lifting rotor unattacked to a motor.

Vince when one is using those, I consider it essential to have a charm or relic that converts attack damage into height.

Why won't they continue the story of Nina Kirov in Lost City from Clive Cussler?? She had such potential!

Oh, "unattacked" to a motor! I get it!

I only wish that I had done it on purpose.
