Considering I don't know what you are talking about (Unless its some sort of reference to Stairway to Heaven by the band Led Zeppelin, and I'm missing all context), I'm going to say yes zeppelins are awesome. Airships rule, and its sad that they died out.

Seriously, the US Air Force had researched using zeppelins for cargo transport, but they rejected the idea.

Hey Gene, what's happening with your game? Haven't heard anything about it for quite a while.Well, as of now it's on hold. I'd originally had it on hold due to college. But now it's on hold 'till I get a job. Once I get a steady job then I'll begin plugging anway at it in my freetime.

Suffice to say, things become more advanced with it than previously (I'm trying to figure out how to get a decently working random loot system plugged in at the moment).

I can't kill this fly that's been bugging me since yesterday. So I finally sprayed insect spray all over the window and the light, figuring that eventually it will land on one of them.

Okay, here goes. A muscular Black man lives on an abandoned oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, claiming that he is fighting pirates. A muscular White man, wearing purple tights and carrying guns, who claims that he has been fighting pirates for over 400 years, ties him up and claims that the Black man is crazy. The White man takes the Black man to a mental hospital in New Orleans, but explains that he can't stay because his wife is waiting for him to fly them back to Africa in his bi-plane.

If you were at the reception desk at the mental hospital, when the White man carried in the Black man, what would you do?

Okay, back to the two crazy guys who think they're fighting pirates. The White guy agrees to go with the Black guy in his speedboat to an abandoned oil rig to fight any pirates there. The White guy (who wears purple tights) is armed with two .45 autos. The Black guy is armed with a king-sized pipe wrench.

Lo and Behold! Cocaine smugglers are on the oil rig! The Black guy tells the White guy what he wants to do. So the White guy says to the Black guy in disgust "Brain them, hit them, beat them, shoot them! That's your plan?"

I don't know, Folks. I think the Black guy has a pretty good plan.

Vince
08-04-2008, 04:05 PM
The expansion continues the game after you kill Diablo. It also allows you to resurrect your rogue assistant, instead of getting a new one every time she gets killed. It also lets you use lucky charms. I would advise you to get it, BUT if you just play Diablo unti you are tired of it, and then install the expansion...

yerkyerk
08-04-2008, 07:03 PM
I would get the expansion right away... Imo, LoD does a lot more for Diablo than IT for Titan Quest..
IT is a very nice expansion though, it's more to show what LoD does (for the slight increase in resolution alone it'd be worth it).

One of my pleasanter childhood memories concerns the day I came home from school, all excited, and told my mother that I was going to dig a hole to China. With the enthusiastic help of my brother, I started digging away.

When our dad came home from work, I explained to him that we were going to visit China, and perhaps bring someone home with us. He encouraged us to keep digging.

My question is not "Did you ever try to dig a hole to China? (or the other side of the world). My question is:

"How far did you dig before you gave up?"

Okay, back to the story of the Black guy who lives on abandoned oil rigs, fighting pirates, and the White Guy in the purple tights who goes around carrying guns.

There really were drug dealers on some of the abandoned rigs, whom the Black guy could find but the Coast Guard couldn't. So after they beat the snot out of the druggies, they called the Coast Guard.

After the Black guy explained that the voodoo women had told him that he would do great things, the White guy realized that he was not crazy after all.

What a happy ending.

WOULD YOU BELIEVE...Maxwell Smart used to be a Marine?

Don Adams was born Donald James Yarmy on April 13, 1923 (yes, that's the correct date) in New York City. He hoped for a career as an engineer but instead joined the Marines at the beginning of World War II. Adams fought at Guadalcanal and contracted Blackwater Fever during his service. After recovering in the hospital for almost a year, Adams was reassigned to be a drill instructor stateside. Rightfully so, Adams was incredibly proud of his service in the Corps.

OK that was funny Vince.

I so damn want this: Lego Millennium Falcon (http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=10179&cn=240)

The problems are:
1)I don't have anywhere big enough to keep it.
2)I don't have enough solid surfaces in the house to put all the bits on while making it.
3)It costs $1,000.
4) it takes a day just to organise the bits before making it.

More than those points it is a massive rip off. In America the same set is sold for $499.99. In Australian dollars that's about $530.00 so I'd be paying an extra $470.

Vince

Fishinfool, I think that Microsoft yanked it due to too many problems. I have my computer set to notify me when Microsoft has downloaded new upgrades, but I have to approve installation. I was surprised to learn yesterday that I had Service Pack 3 downloaded, though not installed.

I already have most of it, and assuming that you do regular updates, so do you. I set a restore point (so does Service Pack 3) and it took about an hour and a half to install.

No problems at all, 24 hours later.

Romeo, the dog, got hit by a car, knocking his eye out. The upset owners took him to the vet to be put to sleep. The vet talked them out of it; he stitched the missing eye shut, fixed his broken leg, and stitched him up. To the surprise of the Mexicans, he then presented them with a bill. They had wanted Romeo put to sleep. Me? They got me to take him to the vet for a follow-up, and everybody there was angry at me. Romeo? He's limping around, happy as can be. The owners? They changed his name to "Pirate," and they aren't paying the bill.

I think this could be the perfect thread for me.. at the moment I cant think of anything stupid or boring enough to post.. but i'll try and think of something soon...

I've thought of something.. that film 'we were soldiers' with Mel Gibson reminds me of a cartoon skit about a budgy, who was actaully a soldier fighting in vietnam, and at the end of the comic strip he says... 'I was that budgy!' I'm watching 'Black Hawk Down' and it's entertaining and some say war-mongering, but who cares? An infarction is a fine for one hour, even though it was less.

is it? i thought it might have something to do with a heart by-pass operation..

In*farc"tion\, n. [See Infarce.] The act of stuffing or filling; an overloading and obstruction of any organ or vessel of the body; constipation. leading to in'fart'tion

ClosetChemist
09-22-2008, 04:49 PM
An infarction is a medical term which refers to anything that causes tissue to die due to a lack of oxygen. (The dead tissue is called an infarct.)

i.e. myocardial infarction: condition where myocardial (heart) muscle dies due to a lack of oxygen. This is most commonly caused by narrowing or even blockage of coronary arteries due to atherosclerosis.

This information has been brought to you by your friendly neighborhood scientist! :nerd:

No one of note was born on my birthday except for Alexander Bell.

You were born on the same day as the man who killed privacy?

Figures...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3_March#Births

According to that plenty of other people were born on the 3rd of March unless he speaks of Alex Bell, a Scottish Soccer player?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/26_June

And that's the list for my birthday. More famous deaths than births. By famous I mean people I know of.

rly. Is TEK a guy or girl ?

I met her in a club down in old soho
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry-cola
C-o-l-a cola
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance
I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said lola
L-o-l-a lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola

Well Im not the worlds most physical guy
But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine
Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Well Im not dumb but I cant understand
Why she walked like a woman and talked like a man
Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola

Well we drank champagne and danced all night
Under electric candlelight
She picked me up and sat me on her knee
And said dear boy wont you come home with me
Well Im not the worlds most passionate guy
But when I looked in her eyes well I almost fell for my lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola

I pushed her away
I walked to the door
I fell to the floor
I got down on my knees
Then I looked at her and she at me

Well thats the way that I want it to stay
And I always want it to be that way for my lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Girls will be boys and boys will be girls
Its a mixed up muddled up shook up world except for lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo lola

Well I left home just a week before
And Id never ever kissed a woman before
But lola smiled and took me by the hand
And said dear boy Im gonna make you a man

Well Im not the worlds most masculine man
But I know what I am and Im glad Im a man
And so is lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola

I just killed Hades on Epic level with my Conqueror (Warfare and Defense).

I'll be the Farmer in the Hell for a while until I've completed my Epic Albino Spider charm.

Is it me or do they have to worst drop rate than any other troop? I swear you're more likely to get a Turtle Shell from Typhon than 2 Albino Spider charms in five runs.
