Hi

Trying to replace some of the female textures in the game, and since I have had a break from the game for a while, I did a complete reinstall deleting savegames, items, and mods. Nice to have a clean fresh start :-)

Anyways, I thought id give it a try to replace the .tqm files with the .tex files I downloaded, so that I could use TQMM to replace all the skins I wanted instead of creating individual batch files etc. SO, following a guide from Zax in a earlier thread, I did the following:

1)Download "Female texture restore.tqm" file from TQMM site.
2)Rename .tqm to .zip
3)Unpack with winzip(winrar).
4)Replace color(s) of your choice with ALEJO, remnamed skin file(s) (.tex format)
5)You will need bmp.tqm file from Full Nude.tqm (from TQMM site as well)
6)Dont touch .ini file if you dont understand instructions within.
7)Remove picture.jpg file (optionaly) or copy ALEJO's screenshots from here then replace old picture.jpg with new, renamed picture.jpg (ALEJO's ones)
8)Select all files -> "add to archive..." (in winrar) then name it as "name_of_your_choice.tqm".

I then moved the .tqm file into the tqmm directory and started TQMM. The file showed up on the left as with other mods, but when i select it, the "apply mod" button is grayed out, and I cannot use it. There is a message in the display reading "no readme included", but I have included all the original files, minus the ones im replacing of course.

dankert,

I managed to duplicate your error. You're going to hate yourself.

When you "Add the files to Archive", be sure to pick a ZIP not a RAR, and use Normal Compression.

I just tried the above steps to add the Dodss Tatoo Evil skin and I ran into a problem I cannot get the TQMM to recognize any of the skins on the TQMM site at all. I have no idea how to add the files to the archive. I am running vista and winzip. If you could help me out
