Does Titan Quest do something similar to Diablo 2 where you hold ALT and it shows the items on the ground?
Do you have to click each thing to pick them? Or is there a "Collect All" button like Sacred had?

You actually have a couple of options. Now, these keys are the defaults in the game and can be remapped:
X: Shows anything Magical or better
Alt: Shows anything Common or Better
Z: Shows all items (even the damaged ones)
I run around with the X key constantly pressed after a fight.
I have not seen a key to collect all, I don't think it exists.

Yeah "Collect All" was cool in Sacred, but sometimes it just becomes annoying especially if there's a bunch of junk laying around that you don't want.
The Diablo 2 style is fine with me. It's also very cool that they expanded it to be more flexible.
Thanks for the answer :)

Less than 24 hours for the rest of us now.

I can't believe it. I actually subscribed to FilePlanet. I guess I finally got tired of the usual routine of hunting around for a free site to download from, only to find the bandwidth capped or a waiting queue.
I suppose it's worth $40 for a whole year subscription. Will make for alot less stress when trying to get trailers and demos. :)
Besides, I'll be able to get TQ instantly without having to wait for it to become available on another mirror.

One of my co-workers less than 10 metres away from me is a subscriber so hurray for me too!
That being said, there are plenty of sites that provide passwords and logins to places like FilePlanet (and any other sites that require subscriptions and/or registrations like The New York Times etc) so I'm never sure of the point behind subscriptions to services like FP.
Less than 12 hours now (I hope).
Can anyone at Iron Lore/THQ confirm the TIME the demo will be available?

I thought I saw somewhere that it was going to be available 10am? Don't know what time zone though. I also don't remember where I saw that information.

Yeah "Collect All" was cool in Sacred, but sometimes it just becomes annoying especially if there's a bunch of junk laying around that you don't want.
The "collect all" in Sacred only worked in single player anyway. In MP games the function was disabled and you got a message you couldn't use it in MP game. This made it annoying because you're used to using the function in SP, and then it doesn't work in MP.
I prefer to choose which item I'm going to pick up anyway, and not have my backpack filled with useless stuff.
By the way, a feature used in GuildWars would also be interesting to have in an expansion for TQ... A salvage kit ! In GW you also got loads of useless drops, but you could at least salvage raw materials from it, which would stack and could be sold later (or used for crafting).
Although introducing a salvage kit to get something worth money from every piece of crap that drops might take the whole money-balance over board...
